New Golden City — Restaurant in Cliffside Park

I knew my gut instinct was correct. For some reason I did not trust this place was actually going to give me these pastries filled with what I ordered (crab and cheese). As you can see in the picture, it was a huge let down as there was next to nothing inside of these. I did not take the meat out before taking these pictures; this is exactly how they came and that is nothing short of unacceptable. Just completely cheap and not what I ordered. If I wanted plain doe I could go to papa Johns and get that quality for half the price. Thankfully, my sweet and sour chicken was not too bad. The sauce was pretty bland and acidic which is why I found it tasted better without the sauce. Overall bad experience and I would not go back. Not a terrible job on the fried chicken, but nothing special. Hopefully I can get some kind of refund...

Always quick, nice and never get my order wrong. Ive ordered here many times - the same dishes- almost always good. Sometimes, the soup can taste like it has gone bad, i think from the dumplings. I would love it if less Red 40 was used in the food because it tastes good it doesnt need it. When the female owner is in the kitchen i know the food is going to come out tasting super good - she holds it down. Nice family and i will still go back despite the soup not always being great. Running a restaurant is hard and everyone messes up now and then. I think these reviews are not a reflection of a repeat customers experiences. I dont expect every restaurant i frequent to...

This place has terrible customer service , the owner has a young teen (with a horrible attitude problem) taking orders/picking up the phone. Every time I call to make an order for delivery I have to deal with the kid and her nasty attitude and lack of basic manners. Not only that but they take forever to make the delivery and they don’t care to help you with what you want. Even the owner or at least whoever the lady is that comes to the phone every time the kid dismisses me - she is pretty rude herself. Honestly...
