Went here for my lunch break with my girlfriend and we were blown away. We got the medium boneless heaven package with five sauces of our choosing and it comes with fries but we upgraded to the rice cakes which were amazing, in the picture the sauces from left to right are; Korean bbq, miso bbq, sweet and spicy, citrus honey, and soy garlic.
Quantity: I am a large man, my girlfriend and I ordered this to share and by the end of the meal we were both stuffed, honestly i think this could easily satisfy three people or even two large men.
Quality: the quality of the chicken was outstanding, the chicken was juicy, the breading was super crispy and even at the end of the meal when there were a couple pieces that had been soaking in the sauces, the breading was still crispy, and the sauces all tasted so good (our favorite was the citrus honey which tasted like lemon pepper but better in our opinion, we had different rankings for the other flavors but both agreed that citrus honey was our favorite and there was no flavor we didn’t like)
Price: while some people might see $30 for this meal as expensive I definitely did not think so. At all Korean fried chicken places you pay about $30 for a large box of of boneless chicken or for about 20 piece wings box, I’ve eaten at my fair share of Korean fried chicken places (like I said I am a large man) but this place definitely gave the most chicken for the price point, on top of that most places only give you the option of one or two sauces which can get old after a couple bites but this places offers a large quantity of food with a variety of flavors so you can try all of them and so the meal does not get boring.
Service: The service here was the cherry on top. The food was amazing but so was the service. I’m not sure if he was the owner but the man who took our order was very helpful when we were ordering and checked in on us to make sure everything was okay, he was very friendly and polite. The food being good alone was enough reason for us to want to go back but the service made us want to definitely visit again in the near future.
Overall this was a great experience and this might be my new favorite Korean fried chicken place to frequent. If you are craving Korean fried chicken or just fried chicken in general and can’t decide where to go, I can’t recommend this place...
Read moreWe had a craving for chicken wings and spotted Bloom Chicken nearby. Parking spots were available right outside which made it really convenient.
And the food. My god. So good. We ordered wings that came with truffle fries and the sweet and spicy sauce (which I think is their toppoki sauce). Speaking of toppoki, we ordered that too and they were soft and chewy inside with a light crunch on the outside and the perfect amount of sauce. I've never had toppoki like that and now I'm spoiled.
We also ordered the drumsticks and were told they would take some time because it was cooked fresh but it was 100% worth it. Crispy on the outside, perfect inside, juicy and tender.
Just so happened the person helping us that day was the owner, Mr. Woo, and he is delightful. Super funny and friendly. I'm not from the area so I didn't know he had a french restaurant called Bloom. He makes all the sauces from scratch and you can tell he loves feeding his customers.
Everything we ate from the wings to the fries was seasoned perfectly. And that toppoki, I could die and be revived by it. Too bad I'm from PA or this would be my weekday craving spot. Y'all so lucky in...
Read moreThe food and the owner here are amazing! So good that I ate it all and forgot to take a picture lol. We ordered the medium boneless chicken combo, monster chicken sandwich, and shrimp burger (must try) as the mains and truffle fries, mozzarella sticks (must try), wasabi cole slaw, and pickled radish for sides. My favorite flavors for the wings were the citrus honey, soy garlic, spicy ranch (delicious and I hate ranch), and korean bbq but honestly all of them were amazing! Be careful if you get the SOS though as it is delicious yet very spicy. You'll end up drinking 3 cans of coke if you eat too many of those at once like I did. It might be a chicken shop, but I swear something about the food reminds me of michelin star level quality. The detail to attention and the unique flavor offerings... man you can really tell the chef/owner really takes pride in his work. We will definitely be coming back again. To the owner and staff: thank you for the delicious food and for being so accommodating even though we stopped by close to closing and an extra thank you for being so kind to our friend with a disability. God bless you and...
