Pizza Side — Restaurant in Cliffside Park

ordered delivery from GrubHub, that might have been the first mistake, I didn't realize the menu from the restaurant was different than the grubhub menu, I ordered by looking at the restaurant menu first, We ordered fried calamari witch was supposed to come with French fries, but It did NOT come of course, and it had absolutely ZERO taste other than a small section that had seasoning on it, complete waste of money, menu price 13.95, but they charged my 16.95.. vodka chicken sandwich with EXTRA MEAT, this was the biggest disappointment, every other bite from the sandwich had meat on it and that meat was paper thin and chewy like gum, the sandwich with extra meat was gross and disgusting and a complete RIP+OFF, menu price 13.95 I was charged 17, 00 --- food was good now just like the majority of places these days, good in the beginning then shorty after food quality down the toilet, PIZZA IS DEF GOOD QUALITY AND TASTY, but different menus in too many places with different food options and different pricing, everyone just follows the system of raise prices and treat the customers like the fools that most are, oh ya I forgot the wings with parm and garlic -- not even a lick of flavor NO PARM NO GALIC, this place throws food out the door they are too busy to care about food quality - not even worthy of photos dont get ripped off and try another pizza spot for...

Horrible pizza. We’ve ordered multiple times from this place, but tonight was just utterly disappointing. The pizza was cardboard thin with hardly any cheese and even less taste. The pizza was stiff as a board and inedible. Tasted like I was eating some bland bread. My family each took a bite of their slice and couldn’t even finish it. When we called up and ordered for delivery, we asked for it to be “extra hot” but yet it was luke warm upon delivery. When we called up to ask to send for a new pie to be delivered, they told us no and offered us a “generous” 10% off from our next order. Horrible customer service and didn’t even try to accommodate us. Will never order from this place again. They just lost a customer.

Update: after receiving a response from the owner, I am even more disgusted by their snippy response and their assumption that I wrote all 3 of their recent 1 star reviews🤣🤣🤣🤣 A good small business owner would be more accommodating and respectful to their customers but I guess this business didn’t...

Took a gamble and tried a new pizza spot, Pizza Side. My fiancée and I were surprised how close by it was to us, and how we only recently found out about it! I got the cauliflower crust truffle mushroom pizza and it was a 10/10. I added Mikes hot honey for that spicy, sweet kick. The quality of the crust and the cheese, truffle, mushroom combination is absolutely genius! My favorite, so far. We also tried the buffalo wings and it was also very, very good. It was the perfect level of spicy and the wings were cooked to perfection. Lastly, we ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and that was the highlight of the day. We were surprised by how buttery soft the focaccia bread was and the meat, cheese and stuffing inside the sandwich was portioned perfectly...yes it's a pizza shop but with great sandwiches too. I can't wait to try more things on the menu, I'm definitely impressed! TLDR I couldn't take any photos because I was too excited to eat. Photos will be up...
