If I could rate this place 0 STARS I would. I went for lunch yesterday. First and foremost the advertisement states $14.93 for lunch, when you get there the menu stats $16.93. I asked the waitress was this including tax she said no this is the price. I stated online it states something different. How long have you been open for? She stated “ Like 3 months “ okay no problem. I did like the setup for the hot bar but the food was old and cold. Japchae ( Korean noodles ) for $18.05. They had a lunch menu full of pork ( which I don’t eat ) the chicken selection only offer thighs. I mean I understand it’s lunch, but you could at least offer white meat. Selection very limited for lunch. The other waiter was very rude and disgusting. The food had no flavor. They make you pay separate for fried rice I think. Crazy thing is I went to another KOREAN BBQ we had choices of seafood, all you can eat as well: white meat vegetables. This place doesn’t even offer veggies for lunch. Definitely overrated. As I am walking out the owner goes have you ever been to Korean bbq before. Yes, I have and it’s way better than this. I showed her pictures of me going last Friday. She said may I ask how much you pay. I said $20 and we get to cook and make our own marinades. Prepare seasonings. The meat quality was excellent. This place NEVER again ! She didn’t offer a refund or anything! Plus at the last place we get free DESSERT ALSO! They charge $1.50 for a popsicle. Avoid...

Wow!! We have not been here for a long time and came back to try out their lunch! It was pretty fantastic!!! We had some Ribeye Steak, Beef Bulgogi and Spicy Garlic Chicken and our server Eric (who is a super nice albeit composed and quiet - a wonderful chef and cooked the meat to perfection. We started with Ribeye and it was well marinated. Very tender and flavorful!! My partner loves the bulgogi and it goes super well with rice (something that people don't usually eat at AYCE) My favorite is the spicy chicken! Spicy sweet well grilled! The steamed egg was so big it was meant to share. Grilled oyster mushrooms was umami on the grill! Fabulous food but what is most awesome that completes the wonderful experience was Eric our server and cook! He cook in a very steady and steadfast manner, with a small smile and his quiet way of talking. The portions were perfectly adequate - We were very satisfied and did not go for second round of meat!! Definitely coming back!!

Update: we came back a week and half later! We were served by Tae! Had an awesome interaction with him (its part of the dining here I guess - they are super professional, friendly and nice - but being the talker I am I began to engage Tae into some conversation WHILE he is cooking! 😆 and the cooked meat was done to perfection! Such nice place! Food are delicious and consistent with right price point. Definitely quickly becoming our favorite spot. Sorry I sneaked a photo of him...

This restaurant is located in a very nice part of town. The street is clean and the entrance is large and inviting. The staff immediately greeted us despite having gone with an hour to spare before closing.

The server we had (I didn't get his name) was very helpful and prepared all of the food options we ordered. The preparation was quick so if you go hungry you won't wait longer than 15 minutes to get the grub in your mouth.

However if you do go, try to arrive 90 minutes before closing. As I mentioned, we arrived an hour before closing so my partner and I could tell the Staff were eager to head home-but they did an excellent job at customer service nonetheless. We didn't feel rushed and they only requested payment for the meals before we officially finished. 4 stars for this. Not 5 because I did feel the server could've made the meat a bit more charred. Be sure to be vocal about what you want. He did ask how we wanted the meat but it still wasn't "brown" enough for me at times. Just a 1st world complaint (lol).

In comparison to other Korean BBQs, this one was definitely 4/5 stars. They don't have as many options as other restaurants of similar color but between the seasonings, fast service, well seasoned meats and veggies, environment and music (K-Pop primarily) and inexpensive drinks, this kaleidoscope of characteristics won't disappoint your emotions nor palate when you're...

Edit: my original review was 4 starts, I've updated to a 5. I've been here 3 more times since my first, and every time it's gotten better and better. They are constantly improving. I can't deny then the 5 star. The bbq is good but where it's amazing is the service. My family and I came at an odd time right before dinner. I think they were shorthanded We got a batch of galbi that was quite tough. We never been here but we did say something about the toughness of the meat. We had two servers who were nothing short of amazing. They did apologize for the tough meat but they did everything they could to make our visit a delight. Their spicy pork is really good but the pork jowl is pretty amazing. You can't beat the price to quality ratio. I will definitely be back again
