Ram's Pizza Tavern — Restaurant in Clifton Heights

NOTICE: This is specific to delivery!!!! I don't want to negatively affect this restaurant for in-house orders, but my impression is that the owner decided "UberEats will bring more revenue, let's do that!" and then chose to ignore the service that he/she had signed up to participate in. I ordered food from here using the UberEats app on a Monday night and my order was accepted. The timeframe was for appx 1 hour from the time I placed the order and no notice was given that the restaurant was busy/not accepting orders. I finally called UberEasts at 9:15 (order window was 9:00-9:30 and I usually receive an estimate long before the window-no estimate received) and they contacted the restaurant only to learn that the restaurant was "too busy" to take my order. However, the restaurant didn't bother to update their UberEats status (I tried to order after I was denied to verify) or take any measures to remedy the situation. So sad this used to be a favorite hotspot that me and a few people would frequent every Sunday and even Monday. They used to have phenomenal bartenders that were courteous of everyone. It was a melting pot, however. There is an older African-American gentleman who does not serve anyone who is white asian or other . I’m sure they will close soon because having someone conduct a business in a town that is opening towards everyone will never do well. Even the younger generation who start to go there are now going elsewhere because of this very rude gentleman. Walk in there on a Sunday and he will turn the music all the way up and not do anything but make awkward eyesight. Very strange very intimidating very racist and I hope people reading this go elsewhere instead of bringing themselves into a very hostile environment just...

Rude staff. Can’t get the order right. Tried calling trying to add something to my Grubhub order because I wanted to add something and it hadn’t been picked up. 30 min later and they hadn’t even acknowledged it as an order. Called and was hung up on. Was looking forward to this place but I’ll pass.

Reply: I was hung up on twice. Yelled at on the phone. On hold (just set phone down) while everyone cackled and carried on for 10 minutes. Told to cancel my order if I didn’t like how things were. Never once asked what the order actually was and tried to make it. So… y’all EARNED...
