food ok but they are liares. first off you can't understand them so my last order was wrong. do not eat egg salad unless you watch them make it fresh as for delivery to hotels they sent nasty old sour egg salad to hotel. on take out menu the offer 2 kinds of cappuccino one is 2 dollars the other is 4 dollars again i asked what is the difference they couldn't explain no understanding you was response. lastly and most importantly they offer delivery 7 days a week open to close. stated on menu. A BIG FAT LIE. today they start around 8 am well ide miss my flight. it is places like this that have ruined the restaurant industry little by little over the years. there chocolate chip cookies are burnt and teeth breaking not the cookies bagel goers have come to expect and know and enjoy through there lives nice and big like black and white size cookie. if you know good bagels then STAY AWAY FROM HERE. positive they do have a good cup of regular coffee. To all resteraunt owners know your menu and be true to it. dont offer half added service like delivery and pick and choose the hours from day to day. lastly all food should be fresh not sending out the so called runt of the litter to deliveries so then say I no understanding you. then hire someone that can take calls to understand. i dont care your background but if your written menu says something then you must abide by it. thank the lord for institutions like Ross and daughters. they still bring hope that an industry that i love and care for so much still has hope. to Clifton bagels get it together and honor your menu and prices or get out and stop giving a bad name to a...

I came into the store to order. I stood in front of the muffins counter and waited for someone to ask what I needed. The muffins previously were next to the register. Two people came in and walked up to where the register was and ordered before me. I waited, then he finally said what do you want? I told him that I wanted a plain muffin and a cranberry muffin. He looked at me like I was crazy and said, you mean a corn muffin. I said oh OK yes and I also said is that a Walnut Muffin. He said read the sign. It’s walnut cream cheese. I said oh OK. I thought it was a sign for the cream cheese not the muffin he told me to read. I told him he was being very rude. I also told him that I was in the store before the other ladies. He said I needed to order from the counter. I told him it was my second time in here and all he had to do was say yes ma’am you can come to the counter where the register was. he told me to get out of his store. Food was alright here last few visits but the cost keeps escalating without reason. Not worth spending for the quality of food being brown bagged and handed over to you. Plus it's been lousy coffee lately.

Note: ever since new management took over biz - during the covid - March 2020, business is not as fair or as good as it should be.

Quality of food and customer service has deminished drastically. The store is not enforcing the No Mask No entry. And management is not encouraging customers to follow and adhere social distancing rules...especially a small outdated place like this one. These are enough reasons for me or others to stay away.

Besides there are nicer renovated bagel stations nearby Clifton/Nutley vacinity that offer more for 'Bang for the Buck' quality foods, more cordial customer service managers and ample staff.

After coming here for more than 20 years and given them my hard earned money...its time for change! Don't settle for mediocre...so much for the Under New Management...
