This Panera location is hands down the worst of approximately 50 that I have been a customer of over the past 25 years in New York City, Queens, Long Island, New Jersey, Delaware, Washington DC Metro area, Florida to name a few. The employees are inefficient, rude and have a "do not give fuxK" attitude. I am positive this is promulgated by the Store Manager who does not have the courtesy to follow up when there is a customer complaint. Recently I placed an online order for 2 bakers' dozen bagels for in-cafe pick up. I received an email confirmation that the order was ready. When I arrived at the cafe, the order was no ready. When I asked the pick-up counter they pointed at one of the employees and said "tell her what the order is and she will get it ready" without so much as a "I am sorry." As if nothing had happened. This employee started putting the order together and took 20 minutes and finally handed it to me. It was short of many bagels and the butters were mssing. I went back to the store and asked for a manager. There was duty manager who I told about the experience. I arranged for an online delivery of many pizzas/salads/sandwiches/soups for a business mtg. the day before the mtg they called to tell me they didnt have the right boxes for the pizza.. i expressed it would be fine if they were in another box, but they refused. they also refused to swap out the items for something else for me. they asked me to go to the order online and adjusted it.. and online i was unable to adjust it myself.. so i tried to call back.. OVER 30 TIMES i called here to try and talk to someone. over multiple hours outside of their "business hours" too. then again the next day.. NOTHING. It was EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING bc i have a big business mtg the next day and needed to know what to do with the catering.. and they finally called me around 9am the day of to say their phones dont work / someone wasnt in.. and that i needed to change the order myself.. i told them i couldnt and they needed to cancel it.. with some back and forth we finally Jess was able to cancel and i ordered from another company. long story short. Edit 1/8/24 - Been coming here for a very long time. Love the cleanliness of the dining area & bathroom which is always stocked with paper items. They’re never out of stock on plasticware & water cups. Very conveniently detailed with menu descriptions, ingredients listing, & nutritional info. I love that the app lets you know if your chosen location is out of an item. My favorite items are the delicious Napa Almond Chicken sandwich which I pair with super yummy tomato basil bread. The wild rice chicken soup is very tasty. Their apples are always fresh. And who can forget the bear claw that hits the spot with the right amount of sliced almonds & icing.The mediterranean sandwich is also SOOOO good with the perfect amount of ingredients that complement each other.
