This place has been going down the tubes for a while. BUT - Went there on a Sat morning for a table for 4. They said it would be a 15min wait. We noticed after 25min that everyone who came before us and after us had been getting seated while we were still waiting. After 30 min, we asked the host about our table. He said, well, the ppl coming have parties of 5 and 6, so we seat them first. And the people with 2 or 3, we can seat immediately. We said, we have 4???. Waiting now 30 min. They said once a table opens up for our party, they'll call us. We were finally called a few minutes later and seated - right in front of the kitchen. There wasn't a door seperating the booth from directly in front of the kitchen. If there was a door, it was wide open. The seat on the booth was ripped up. The table and floor was sticky. It was EXTREMELY LOUD. And one constant bang after another of dishes being dropped on tables and bins, and constant shouting, we decided to get up and leave. We went to the Tick Tock Dinner and was seated IMMEDIATELY and served hot and delicious food within 10 minutes. The place was also very crowded, but managed to be professional, quick and efficient. I means, it's eggs and pancakes... its really quick to cook... Save yourself. Sadley, iHop is not the same as it used to be. Quality and service is so down on their priority list, I can only imagine what happens with the ppl actually cooking your food. The 2 host and manger working 4/29 should be fired. Go right down rt 3 west less than 1/4 mile. The Tick Tock Dinner will now have our business. I hope they...
Read moreI will never again bring my family or kids over. Was our first time and was the worst experience ever. Since I walked in I felt judge by the hostess because me next to my kids I look like a kids as well. Our waiter was extremely bad, we try to order dollar silver platter “ gluten free” waiter Junior E. Said they don’t make it on the platter, which was fine he could suggest another platter. He said Gluten free pancakes are only made for big platters, I said was fine my daughter friend wanted that to eat to give it to her. My daughter friend is a gluten person so she knows how her pancakes should taste “ she make me taste “ I didn’t like them … Her words were this pancakes does not taste like the other IHOP in Wayne. Never came to check on us to see if we need something else or if everything was okay. When I asked for the check we are a party of 4 kids 1 adult, Junior E #0054133 added 15% gratuity in my bill, with this doesn’t mean I wasn’t going to leave a tip because I was an employee just like him. I didn’t mention anything to him. Talk to the manager were he wanted to take care of the gratuity but I say to him you don’t have to do nothing but I think you should be aware of your people & their services! I worked in a good service for years “ Friendlys Elmwood Park” & I know how & what a waitress go thru but I think they need to do better on the judgement...
Read moreMy recent visit with my family was no exception. We savored a delightful meal that left us completely satisfied. One standout dish was the cheeseburger mashed potatoes, a unique and indulgent combination that surprised me with its flavorful blend. The rich and creamy mashed potatoes were the perfect accompaniment to the juicy and savory cheeseburger. It's a must-try for anyone looking for a twist on classic comfort food. Of course, IHOP is renowned for its pancakes, and they did not disappoint. The pancakes were incredibly fluffy, almost like biting into a cloud. They were a perfect canvas for the variety of syrups and toppings available, making it easy to create a customized pancake experience. The delectable sweetness of the pancakes was simply heavenly. Another highlight was the turkey bacon, which was a healthier alternative without sacrificing flavor. The turkey bacon was cooked to perfection, crispy and full of smoky goodness. It was a delightful addition to our meal. Overall, my family and I had a fantastic experience at IHOP. The cheeseburger mashed potatoes and the fluffy pancakes were a hit, and the turkey bacon was a pleasant surprise. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a delicious, family-friendly meal, I highly recommend IHOP. It's a reliable choice for classic comfort food...
