This place is TERRIBLE. I called to see if they were accepting walk I s and the girl hi answered the phone told me to come in, there would be no issue. I only waited for about 10 mins or so but the trouble started when the girl did my pedicure. She was extremely rough, and I donât get pedicures often so I wasnât sure if the pain I was feeling was normal. It hurt so bad I was clenching the arm chairs. Then when she finished scrubbing my feet I noticed that the edges of my toe nails were bleeding. The pedicurist took a green liquid and started placing it on the bleeding areas but she didnât even bother to explain what it was for! I had to look at the name on the bottle and look it up because she kept no communication with me. And on top of that one of my toes wouldnât stop bleeding, which she didnât address either. She waited a few minutes and then when the bleeding stopped she painted the last toe. I was in so much pain and on top of that I was embarrassed because I wasnât sure if any of this was normal. I texted my friend while it was happening and she told me that it absolutely wasnât normal and that I shouldnât pay her. Iâve never not paid for any services but how could I pay for something that left my physically injured? After my toes dries the girl tried to charge me but I told her I wasnât paying when it hurt to walk. Thatâs not how I walked in and thatâs not something I was going to accept. She kept telling me that it was because I hadnât gotten a pedicure in a long time and that this situation wouldâve happened anywhere. Which is FALSE because nail technicians are not supposed to do anything to create open wounds. She kept telling me that she has her license and that she knows what sheâs doing but the end result speaks for itself. This is a terrible place. I wouldnât recommend it to my worst enemy. That girl must have bought her license online...
Read moreThe person who did my nails was very sweet and lovely but I did not know how to execute the manicure in a way that kept them on long. The person did not know how to do the nails with an apex in them meaning the area that needed to be reinforced and is reinforced when nails are done with extensions is weakened due to the lack of an apex. The day after I got them done to nails had popped off and when I had gone back on tuesday they said I had to wait till the following day to see the person who did my nails or pay to have them fixed and then over so I waited until Wednesday to get them done again. The person did not know what an apex was even after showing them a picture of how the nails should look like so instead I just got thicker flat nails instead of nails done properly. thankfully I did not have to pay for the service but it was very disheartening to sit there for another two hours after having been in there for three hours the other day and having the same result and not being happy with it.
edit: Three days after getting my nails done one has broken off again. it is very frustrating because they are lumpy and not done well and nearly ripped my natural nail off in the process I would not go back here again. Further more when the person was doing my nails over for the second time they were very rough and kept âaccidentallyâ hurting my fingers when they were putting down the nails. The pain that I fell itâs the second time from the âaccidentsâ did not happen the first time when I was...
Read moreUPDATE: The technician did call and did respond to this review offering a visit at no cost, however I did not take the call or call back. I chose not to and received services somewhere else. Since she did reach out, I added a star because it showed she dis want to address the issue and meet my needs. So thank you to the nail tech.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Yesterday, 5/26 I went to this nail salon to get a gel manicure, and I wasnât impressed by the results but was assured that it would last 2 weeks. After only 2 hours, the gel chipped and peeled off. I am extremely disappointed with the results.
I immediately called to let the technician know and she asked me to come in so she can fix it. I reminded her that I had a previous commitment, which is why I went to get my nails done in the first place. She asked me to come in at 9:30 today 5/27 immediately changed the time to 10 AM. I agreed. I arrived at 9:45 to be on time for her. Iâm not sure if she arrived afterward but I waited 15 minutes. As an individual with limited time, I am disappointed that the technician didnât show up.
I gave her a chance to address the issue, and it didnât happen. I will not...
