Mighty Quinn's Barbeque — Restaurant in Clifton

The food is always so fresh & cooked to perfection, the brisket burnt ends are beyond delicious & served in a generous portion. The broccoli salad is delish by itself with extra dressing & the Brussels sprouts are insanely yummy combined with the jasmine rice &/or a meat like the burnt ends.

3/2/24 - had the broccoli salad w/jasmine rice & 2 brisket empanadas with the sauce that comes with it. Absolutely delicious. Mighty Quinn’s never disappoints with their seasoning & fresh food even when delivered. Keep up the great work!

4/11/24 - got mom hooked on the brisket empanadas & I must suggest to please bottle up that chipotle sauce because I’d buy it in a heartbeat! Keep up the great work.

5/18/24 - This place never disappoints with their delicious and fresh food that’s cooked to perfection. The clean atmosphere and the very courteous and professional staff always provide the best dining experience ever. Shout out to Will and the team! My favorites are the jasmine rice, broccoli salad, pulled pork sandwich, burnt ends, ribs, and the brisket empanadas. Also, thank you so so much for changing the menu options to where the empanadas can be ordered single vs in pairs. This is a huge convenience for days where I can only eat just 1 or want to eat 3 instead of 4. If I can give you 10 stars I would because when a restaurant listens to & takes action on a customer suggestion, it makes them want to come back for more! Keep up the great work, everyone. My only suggestion at this time is to please bottle up that chipotle, mayo sauce, and sell it because it is delicious.

9/8/24 Update: I just had to come back & review Mighty Quinn’s again. Managers Fatima & Will along with their awesome crew will always give you food that’s fresh, tasty, & at the best price point for the great quality food they serve. The empanadas, pork sandwich, broccoli salad, jasmine rice, ribs & briskets are cooked with seasoning that make your taste buds explode. You MUST stop in during lunch & take advantage of their lunch specials. Keep up the great work guys! And please bottle up that chipotle mayo sauce. It’s DELISH & should be...

I'm sorry Mighty Quinn's of Clifton I have to keep it 100% especially after being a longtime customer, the office promoter, and the Clifton location grand opening customer. What a disappointment this location has become. Visited this location two weeks ago on a Saturday. This location has clearly been sold .....I can tell. The original owner would have never let this quality of food be sold. Horrible, horrible the taste of the food has fallen far from the NYC location and the grand opening. I ordered 2 meats and sweet potato casserole, my daughter ordered pulled pork and burnt end beans. We ordered to go. The staff was good but the food. I ate one of the two pieces of ribs that was dry and the brisket flavor .....where was it? I had to pour sauce to taste anything. The brisket alone use to be smoked so good w/flavor. This is not the first time I've gotten this non-flavor. I work in the area at a large place and I use to order twice a month for the office (pre-pandemic) and I use to complaint about my order being messed up. If I say my real name you guys will know I've been a big supporter for years. But I'm truly done with this location. I can't spend anymore of my hard earned money on this quality of food. My daughter was home from college and once she took a bite of the food. She also said what happened? I gave this location too many 2nd chances no more.

What I'm noticing at a lot of restaurants lately is that what is promoted on social media and websites is not what you get in person. They lure the customers in and if they know your popular on social media just like the old day critics the dish is amazing but the regular customers that makes up 100% of the restaurants revenue gets whatever the cook is feeling like in food flavor quality of the day or the day old food is served thinking the customer won't speak about it. I can't no more. I rather pay for a restaurant that takes me two weeks or more to get a reservation. I know the bill will be $200+ but I also know everything I'm ordering even down to the cocktails will be 5 stars because that particular...

I've been here before and had a pretty good experience, but tonight was very different. There was a long line to order, but it's totally worth the wait for some of the best bbq in the area. Took me about 20 minutes to place my order. My friends and I all ordered the combo special, which comes with your choice of 2 meats and fries. They ran out of chicken, and were telling customers it would be another 25 minutes until the chicken was ready. No excuse for that, simply poor management and preparation on their end.

Anyway, we get to the cashier to pay, only to find out that they are also waiting on fries.. they write down a number on a to-go container for us to stand on the table (because they ran out of the number stands they normally use). We proceed to pay and sit at a table to eat. About 10 minutes later, I receive my fries, but my friends still don't receive theirs. They continue to wait.. Meanwhile, I share some of mine with them. During the next 25 minutes, several other customers who ordered after us receive their fries.

As we continued to wait, 3 young women walk into the restaurant, each holding a bouquet of roses. They split up and approach each table of people to solicit money in exchange for a rose! This alone, is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know how any of the staff could not notice this happening and do nothing about it! I can't speak for all customers, but I personally don't go to restaurants to be harrassed by solictors!

One of my friends eventually received his fries 35 minutes after he ordered his food and we were still missing one more order of fries... Finally, after another 10 minutes, one of the employees who served us came around to clean tables and realized that we hadn't received all of our fries. She apologized and brought us 2 orders. It took 45 minutes for all of us to receive the fries that came "with" our meals! They came out undercooked and floppy, like flacid peni.

This is completely unacceptable and this establishment should be ashamed of their quality of service and efficiency. I will not be coming back...
