Plaza Bagel is one of those places one would easily pass by and never know it existed, unless you either look on a map, or accidentally stumbled upon it when driving or walking by. It's neatly tucked in back of a block long business strip, with no street side entrance, only a back parking lot one. The food, especially the bagels and bagel sandwiches are particularly good; the coffee quite satisfactory. The service is very friendly as well. I would like however, for them to be a little more more open with their listed prices, as some items - specialty bagels for one, to have them posted

Chef’s KISS! My colleague took me here while I was in New Jersey for work. He said I HAD TO try a bagel here before I left and it was amazing. Hands down MUST TRY while you’re in the area. 10/10 - my colleague mentioned he’s been coming to this location since a kid. I definitely feel the family atmosphere & the food is made with love. He told me this ā€œisn’t just any regular egg & cheese bagelā€. I couldn’t agree more. I definitely would come back next time I’m in Jersey. Amazing food, amazing people, amazing customer & a great last meal I had in Jersey before leaving.

THE BEST. I refuse to get bagels anywhere else. I recently moved out of state and miss my weekly bagels. Been a customer since I was a child. These soft fluffy warm fresh out the oven bagels are the best ones you’ll find in Clifton and north jersey. They’re breakfast sandwiches are huge and aren’t skimpy with their meats and eggs. Their bagels are literally always fresh out the oven you don’t need to even get your bagel toasted. The bagel shop is always packed on a sat/sun and sometimes have to wait outside. But it’s well worth the wait.

We stumbled across this place when we were researching the area as a potential place to buy our first home and OH MA GAW... Is it amazing!!

We tried it out the first time we looked at houses in the area and have gone every time since! We left NYC in 2015 and have moved around quite a bit.... this place made us feel like we were back home!

The bagel sandwiches are LEGIT and beyond incredible! I personally have tried both breakfast and lunch varieties and you just can't go wrong with either. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel for breakfast and the turkey and cheese for lunch! My partner is a 24/7 breakfast bagel sammie kind of person and LOVES the bacon, egg and cheese with hot sauce!

On the weekends they have special bagels like the oreo flavored bagel. I was sceptical.... but not after the first bite! All of their bagels are awesome! Really..... you can't miss at this place!

It's nothing fancy. It's pretty tight, esp when busy but totally worth it! The parking lot is also tight, so keep that in mind if you have a big SUV and/or you come during peak hours. They make everything to order, but service is pretty quick and you always walk away with a hot sandwich and a smile!

We just bought our first house and we look forward to coming to Plaza Bagel A LOT! If you find yourself in the Clifton area... DEF...

My father used to go to Plaza Bagels when I was a kid. I never knew why he stopped. The other day I went to the vet near by to pick up a prescription for my pets and decided to stop in. Got a few bagels and left.

As I was walking home, I decided to grab a bagel and eat it because it was piping hot. Who can pass up a fresh bagel? I take a bit and thought, well this is terrible. The bagel had this weird fishy taste to it. Zero clue what it was but it was off putting. I contemplated just throwing the bagel near the wooded area by the train tracks but I thought about the wildlife and how they might be subjectives to eating this terrible bagel. So I powered through it and finished it.

I picked up a few bagels for the rest of the week for my roommate and myself. She had one the next morning and thought it was absolutely gross as well. I also had one that day, just as bad as the first one. Honestly, Lakeview Bagel has a better bagel and that’s crazy because theirs are absolutely terrible.

So many positive reviews for this place? This would probably be a fantastic bagel in Ohio or something but for Jersey? These are disgusting. I can honestly see why we stopped going all those years ago. Save the trip, go to Bagel Abroad or Deans Bagels...

I don’t usually leave reviews but there’s a first for everything lol. I pass by often but never stopped here before. A couple days ago, I decided to pick up breakfast after an appointment so I chose this bagel place. I had my cranky toddler with me so I was hoping it would be quick lol.

Walked in and saw a bunch of people inside already. The space is kind of small, but if there’s that many people there, the place must be good. They got to me soon after and the lady at the counter was really nice. While placing my order, I turned to see another employee holding out a mini bagel with the sweetest smile for my daughter.

I couldn’t take it cuz she’s got a bunch of food allergies but the gesture was so sweet and they were both so kind and sympathetic when I explained that to them. That alone is reason enough for me to stop by again, with how friendly they were!

As for my order, I had gotten two bagels with the specialty cream cheeses. They offer a lot of other stuff as well and have a big variety of drinks. The bagels and cream cheeses were pretty good, I will definitely stop by again...
