We Bake Fresh Bakery — Restaurant in Clifton

I was very excited to try this new bakery in town because I like to support local business and had previously read some good reviews about them. I went to the store today to pick up some donuts to celebrate Fat Thursday. Their website listed about seven different types of donuts that they make but today they only had seven donuts in the case in four different flavors so I didn't really have much to choose from.

I bought six of the donuts and did appreciate the fact that they were larger than the traditional box store donuts you can buy at a franchise, and they also had a "homemade" look to them which was also appealing to me. Unfortunately the donuts themselves are really not that good. They are dry and hard and have very little filling inside to keep them moist. They also have a fairly heavy coating of powdered sugar.

Lastly, their website says that their donuts cost $1.50 each which I just noticed when I went back to their website to get the details I needed to write this review. My six donuts should have cost $9 but I was charged $15? Shame on me for not having realized that I was overpaying when I was at the counter.

I’ve been going to this bakery since they opened. This place blows away any other bakery around and even possibly the whole state!!! I can’t even believe the one bad review, that person must have issues or lying for whatever strange reason. Because this place bottom line stands out in quality. Everything is absolutely amazing. I’ve never had one thing that was old or not fresh. The owner lives up to the name “I bake fresh” but it’s more than that, his ingredients are just amazing. He told me he makes everything from near scratch and IT SHOWS. have one pie or anything and you will know exactly what I’m saying. I just got my first Pecan pie and it was amazing I think this my favorite pie yet but the apple is incredible also. 1 pie, 6 piece of baklava, and 2brownie/2 carrot cake... all of this was under 30$ ... the pie alone taste like it’s worth thirty dollars lol. Amazing quality for a super affordable price. This is the spot!! You will never see me shopping super market bakery...

It was a very bad experience indeed. The cake was very bad. The cake tasted stale, not fresh. I asked for the filling to be strawberries and raspberries, but I was surprised that the filling was very little and there was no taste in the cake, as if you were eating sugar and butter. No one liked the cake. It was really a disappointment. Even the appearance of the character my son chose was very bad. They printed it on plain, non-edible paper. The character was not clear at all, its color was very pale, and it was very, very, very bad. Also, its price was very expensive, the cake is not really worth such a price. $100 is an exorbitant price and the cake is Inedible. I will never go to this store again and I will not repeat this...
