The food: I got the veggie paella, it was good but had a lot of room for improvements. It felt overall a bit bland and like just regular spanish rice with veggies. But what it lacked in quality more than made up in quantity. It's a really large portion, definitely a take-home item for most customers, I assume. My girlfriend had the Steak Diana, and she thought it was good as well. Decent size portion loaded with mushrooms, veggies, and sides. On the side, we tried mashed potatoes and fries, and it was the best part of the night. The fries taste like good old diner fries, and the mashed potatoes had really great texture and presentation. The service: The waiters were attentive and checked up on us a few times. I saw the same attentiveness from other waiters for other customers, too. Our waiter had a thick accent, which made it a little difficult to communicate our orders and choices. However, we all took our time to make it work. There was a small hiccup with 2 of the items due to the miscommunication, but the waiter, without much of any issue, fixed it. Overall, it was a great service. The atmosphere: it is a typical restaurant type experience. The place tho empty when we got there did feel a bit stuffy. Low ceilings, lack of windows, or natural light besides one spot made it feel smaller than it should be. One big issue that I tried to ignore was that we saw two baby cockroaches on the table, and I didn't mention it because my gf would have freaked out. Overall, the place is worth a try. I most likely won't be going back just because I don't have many choices as a vegetarian.

Portuguese Tavern is our favorite Restaurant We are truly blessed to be best friends with the owner/chef for many years! The food is always fresh and delicious 😋 bursting with flavor! The staff is AhhhhhMazing and work together as a team to please everyone. The new owners go above and beyond all day every day 7 days a week. They also have a big barbacue on the other side it's also totally awesome! If you have never been u must go to see for yourself! If you love ❤ Seafood ask for the Costanza Feast - Speak to chef/owner! You will love as hubby and I do and instantly become regulars! They do partys 🥳 for any occasion and do a wonderful job!

I purchased an order for pickup that cost $24.82. When looking at my bank statement, I noticed they had charged me $34.82. I went to the place and asked to speak to the manager. Marcos had asked why and I explained the situation. Marcos tried to put it on me and said that maybe I purchased another item, however that would not make sense since it would have been two separate transactions. He said he would go and find the manager or the owner which his name is Felipe Silva however I had waited for about 10 min before he returned and said he couldn’t find him. Marcos said he would give me my $10 and in his exact words, “if that’s what’s going to make you happy”, which he repeated twice to me with an attitude. He could not tell why this happened or offered a better solution. After telling him that I was going to post about his absolute rude behavior, he told me “I could post it wherever I wanted” insinuating that he didn’t care. If you dare go here, check your statements because clearly they are trying to get away with what they...

Had really high hopes based on menu and reviews. Went on Mother's Day which was perhaps the mistake we made. We sat for 20 mins, no menus, no drinks, wife had to ask host/manager what is going on. She said something like they will get to us when their others tables are served?!?!?. Anyway. We finally got our waiter, I think he normally is a busboy but whatever. The menu was cut to perhaps 20% of normal menu due to Mothers Day, huge let down as I was looking forward to trying items not on todays menu. The food took almost 45 mins and was nothing special, my son got the type of chicken and he and wife didn't get side of chips, rice and veggies until we asked. We didn't bother mentioning wrong chicken as we were there forever and place was not even close to full. Mediocre service, experience and food, Very...
