I have eaten A LOT of food in my life and this was the first time I’ve ever had food that made me want to cry (not in a good way). I’ve been to multiple different restaurants during my vacation in Colorado and almost all of them have been impressive, however this place was not. -When we entered the restaurant it seemed as if they were going out business. The lights were off and/or dim, there was nobody standing at the front of the store, and the “showcase” was completely empty. -After we were seated, a young man (the bus boy) took our drink orders and delivered it to us. Everyone seems to running around like the place was swamped but there were no more than 10-20 people in the entire restaurant. -Our orders were placed and took far too long considering the place was almost empty. When the food was delivered, my family got their food and all I received was my French toast (which wasn’t terrible but far from something I would order again) -The waitress told me she would be right back with my Biscuits and gravy (which I’m pretty sure she dropped while bringing it to me) and it took another 20 minutes before I received my order. -Once the food got there and I tried it, I wished I had ordered a piece of styrofoam with a side of card board. The biscuits (which we recommended to me by a family member) were made with corn meal and tasted like a bad imitation of cornbread. The gravy was more like pudding and had no real flavor and when mixed with the biscuits only tasted like corn bread. -The eggs (ordered medium) were crisp and flaky, almost burnt around the edges, and we’re not seasoned at all (no salt or pepper). One side of the egg was fried, almost plastic, and the other side was completely uncooked. -The hash browns were also unseasoned and tasted like a chopped up potato that was boiled and then fried on one side and then mindlessly thrown on a plate. -Also in the men’s bathroom, the only stall available had a broken lock and the door was impossible to keep closed. The only reason that isn’t a huge problem is because the restaurant was so empty that the odds of someone else walking in on you is slim to none. -The food was inedible, the atmosphere was horrendous, and the restaurant seems to be going bankrupt and close to going out of business.
-If you’re the owner and you’re reading this, yes this is the location we ate at and I highly recommend looking into these issues and solving them because the slop that was delivered to me is something I wouldn’t feed to a tounge-less, starving dog. I will not be returning and even if I did live in the area I would avoid this place like the plague. I hope you take these issues very seriously because a restaurant that can’t serve good food is a restaurant that won’t last very long. I truly hope you can turn this restaurant around because it was very highly recommended to me by a family member and I was too embarrassed to tell them how bad it...
Read moreFood was good but nothing too special. I had the southern fried chicken and it was amazing. BUT I'm super concerned with the cleanliness of the place. If the parts of the restaurant that the customer can see is that filthy, I'm a little nervous about the condition of the kitchen. everything was sticky to the touch and the side wall to the booth was just covered in ketchup, grease and other food splattering. 😣 Our waiter was very kind and attentive. But I am super concerned about one of the things that had happened. He brought out all of our food bringing an extra plate that at first we did not pay attention to. It wasn't until we got everything that I realized it was something that we did not order. The waiter came in to check on us about five minutes later and we told him that a plate in the middle was nothing that we had ordered and he apologized and took it away. Not more than one minute later we saw the waitress bring that exact dish to the table next to us, the customers that had originally ordered it. they don't know if we had taken a bite from it or put her fork on it or anything! I would be absolutely furious if they brought me a plate that they accidentally sent to another table and let it sit there unsupervised. I think that's super shady and gross. Unfortunately the experience and the food probably won't be enough to get us to...
Read moreOur experience was horrible from the beginning. When we walked in we were playing the claw game trying to get a stuffed animals for my niece and nephew and this one lady was automatically rude. I don’t know her name but she was older and dark black medium length hair. She asked us how many people we had and we weren’t even in line and the tone she had was just like she was irritated that we were there. We were far from being ready to go back and eat. They let us to talk to a manager and he said it was because it was a busy day cause it was a weekend. Which shouldn’t be an excuse. We ordered the kids food first and we asked for ranch like 4 or 5 times by the time he got it he was almost done eating. Our potatoes were pretty hard and uncooked. We got our cinnamon rolls late and one of them was wayyyyyy smaller and cold like it had just gotten out of the fridge. Freezer even. At the end when we got our check we gave our waitress named Kennedy our card and when she came back she gave us drinks that 1. We didn’t order and 2. Weren’t drinks that we had already. Then she gave it to the table that it was supposed to go to in the first place. Which because of covid definitely shouldn’t have happened. Shouldn’t have happened at all. This place used to be good but it’s going downhill. WOULD...
