I placed an order online for pick up, 3 Footlongs and 2 bags of chips. When picking up the order, there wasn’t any chips in the bag. I grabbed my chips and the worker Celesta loudly explains “There’s no chips with that.” I checked my receipt and seen there was and told her, “Yes there is, Jalapeño and Cheddar Sun Chips.” The worker Travis says “Oops my bad, I think there is.” The worker Celesta says “ I don’t believe him, I think he’s lying.” As she grabs her copy of the receipt, I’m assuming to double check if I did pay for them. Myself and my sister who ordered, immediately took offense to this comment. I would never lie and steal, especially over a lousy $2 bag of chips. After these comments I asked for a refund and to get their names and managers name. Both workers immediately started started saying the don’t know how to and that they did not say that and got mad, calling me a liar again. They then called their manager Katie and stated “There are customers here ACTING CRAZY, we didn’t do anything wrong, they want a refund.” Travis got red in the face and threw his hands up saying some curse words walking into the back. I am completely baffled as I was calm the whole time and clearly the worker Celesta was in the wrong, Katie the manager, defended them and walked them though how to process the refund. I did receive my refund, but I will never return this location after this experience. I cannot believe the outrageous treatment I received as a loyal customer to this very location and the unprofessionalism of all workers including the manager Katie. When asked if I can get corporate contact info they pointed to the bottom of the receipt and said “Go ahead and leave a review, we can’t give out any corporate information.” Regardless if this was a “misunderstanding”, the way everything was handled was not acceptable. I have contacted corporate on the Subway Website concerning this...

Read moreIt’s really disheartening to see how much this location has deteriorated. When I entered, I was rudely greeted by a teenager making the sandwiches, who asked, “What do you want?” I requested a cheese and chicken dipper, but he snapped back, “We don’t do those anymore,” which was confusing because it was still listed on the menu board. There were no signs indicating the change either. It would have been better if he had said that they discontinued it but offered a flatbread wrap with cheese and chicken as an alternative. While this option was more expensive, he could have made it sound appealing.
The only employee who seemed genuinely polite was the boy who was adding toppings to my sandwich. When I asked for the names of the other staff, he mentioned he was newer and was unsure. Normally, I always tip here, but during checkout, the same rude kid who started my experience on a negative note was at the register. At one point, he was struggling with a trash bag that had gotten stuck together and started cursing about it. A little boy, probably around five years old, was behind me and could overhear all of this.
I work in the same industry, and if I heard any of my team members behaving that way, they would be out of a job. No one is forcing you to work there; if you dislike your job this much and treat customers poorly, perhaps it’s time to reconsider...
