Golden House Restaurant — Restaurant in Clinton Township

I have ordered General Tso's (sweet) not spicy literally once a week for the last 9 months consistently & it has always been perfect until Saturday night 6-15 @ 10:39pm. The gentleman that took my order stated I had approximately 10 to 15 minutes to arrive coming from 161. I made it within that time confirmed upon pick up my order that was just to arrive home and it was nothing as I have experience prior. It was bland with no onions as requested, in which I was told it comes with onions and requested extra onion to have none and it was not sweet! It tasted of straight soy sauce and no flavor my significant other ordered the Shrimp egg, which was bland as well. The sauce had no flavor and no consistency! You had us rush there, whether it was the end of the night or not you still had a responsibility to be consistent and preparing your food and you did not!! I will not lie I was truly perturbed and disappointed, and had nothing to eat, which just enraged me even more! To believe I will be there tomorrow on Sunday 6-16 The moment they open at noon To return this disgusting food and it would be in their best interest to refund me my money info and compensate me for the inconvenience!!! It is a shame because of this interaction that I will no longer be eating here...

Two years ago I came here and ordered my favorite, I saw a cook dig his bare hand in the fried rice and taste it. I left and dint say anything because I ordered white rice, but then I felt bad and thought about karma. So I called to alert them about their cook. They actually had the audacity to argue with me. Even as I asked for the manager. Well today, My dumb behind tried them again today hoping they improved, because they did serve the best ma la chicken and broccoli and chicken. Soon after I ate my greasy food that my stomach is bubbling. I prayed over my food so hopefully I dont get sick or get the runs. Gross place! Outside is dirty, inside has not been updated in years. They are not hygienic and food quality has gone down. Or perhaps I have better taste and expect quality in food. Worst customer service ever. There’s some short angry balding Chinese man behind the counter who goes out of his way to screech at customers/treat them like thieves. I sat inside one day for my food and these man started screeching at me to hurry up and take the food and leave literally when he just brought it out. There’s also another short Chinese girl quite young with a nasty attitude. They seriously need to adopt some customer service there. I’ve officially stopped coming here years ago the food was good and I enjoyed coming here with my family but nowadays the food quite literally tastes spoilt because they package and store them days ahead and just reheat it you can still taste the frozen.
