This morning I decided to stop at this location to get a caramel latte because I had one for the first time yesterday (at another location) and it was delicious. As I pull in the drive through the lady on the speaker doesn’t even say the normal bit “welcome to McDonalds what can I get for you.” No, she says “what can I get you,” with an attitude as if I’m bothering HER. So, I order my drink and she says “ight pull around”. Doesn’t give me a total. Doesn’t ask me if I want it hot or iced. So I pull up to the first window and the girl (probably her early twenties) is chatting it up with another female who I can’t see. Looks at me and says “3.58” and holds her hand out while STILL talking to the other girl. So I hand her a $20 bill and she takes it from me, takes a little while, but give me my change. Doesn’t tell me how much I was given back. Has YET to even look at me because she’s too busy chatting it up with her friend. So I pull up the the second window and I’m waiting for way too long. Keep in mind that I am the ONLY one in line. Plus, it is 10 A.M. on a Monday morning so they aren’t even busy at this time. The lady hands me my drink and says “have a nice day” and shuts the door. I start driving down Harper and go to take a sip of my drink, but ALL I’m sipping is AIR. This drink was only filled about 3/4 of the way to the rim. I paid for a MEDIUM sized drink and they gave me as much as a SMALL. Those ladies need to learn real customer service. What they lack in "wow factor" (considering the building is split with a gas station occupying the other half, you'd be foolish to fixate on that anyways) they make up for with consistency and good pricing. This is one of the few McDonald's that actually gives you what you order; i.e. Extra Onions, Add Mac Sauce etc. compared to most which treat your order as a suggestion if you're lucky. Seriously can't stress how nice that is considering if I'm paying for something particular extra or added, I'd better damn well get it. The advent of mobile ordering has made this more widespread than ever but these wonderful folks actually do what you ask. Polite and still have a sense of customer service whereas most times my food is just left on the counter with nobody confirming who's picking it up, or even acknowledging your presence whatsoever. Read moreThis McDonald's is under New Management and it is not good! I did an online order and went to the curbside. I sat there for 10 minutes with nobody coming out. I called the store and they said I had to get in the Drive-Thru line, which I did. I pulled into the middle of the line, since I had a mobile order, and told the clerk at the window my mobile order number. When I pulled up to the window they handed me a bag, it was the wrong food. I alerted the worker, then the manager came up and started yelling at me for taking the wrong food. He did not apologize for giving me the wrong food, he had the audacity to actually yell at me. Unbelievable! I will not frequent this McDonald's any longer. I used to go out of my way just to go here because it was closer to my house; I believe in supporting businesses in my area.
