My experience was not with a restaurant location itself, but with a manager representing the restaurant at another establishment. My wife and I quite frequently get a late night sweet tooth for Wendyâs frosties. Last Wednesday l, we spontaneously decided to venture out for a fix. The Wendyâs location we visited isnât really known for its speed of service at night, but is one of the friendliest fast food restaurants I have visited. However, the party responsible for the issue with speed of service that night lay solely in the passenger and driver of the car in front of us in the drive through line. The driver who was clearly intoxicated as well as the passenger belligerently berated the high school workers for nearly 30 minutes over the price of one of their sandwiches claiming that âthe internet said it was a different price,â!and that âthe customer is always right.â She also added she was âthe manager at the McAllisters on the Coastâ and then tried to what appeared to be attempting to get the High School kids that work there to walk out on the job which we did find quite hilarious, even though If she was successful at her proposition, that our frosties would be delayed even more than they already had from the 2 drunk girls arguing half an hour over a 40 cent difference and complaining about how kind they had been waiting, which was more than double the amount of time they had been waiting there because we had pulled into Wednesday right after them.
I normally donât write reviews unless it was something extremely satisfying or extremely disappointing. This is the first time ever I have written a review about a manager when they werenât in their facility. However after sitting on it a day, and knowing much of the staff because of the amount of times we frequent them and how good they are to us, i felt I needed to say something and point out that if this is the way McAllisters allows their managers to represent the McAllisters brand, then I wonât have any problem boycotting this restaurant and passing this encounter around my network. It was a conversation that could be heard out on the street Iâm sure, and the manager looked like he had been cornered on an episode of the Jerry Springer Show and at the very least will cause me to stop spending my money with this costal McAllisters that one or both of them represented.
I only wish that I was able to...
Read moreArrived to the McAlsiters Deli location in Clinton,MS at 6pm and order food for me and my girlfriend. The host Octavia (if thatâs even her name ) did not greet us much less act like she wanted to be at work.
Apparently she cannot hear well also as I constantly had to repeat my order. Sadly even after repeating my order it still came out wrong and had to get sent back after waiting 20+ minutes for one of two entrees and a nacho app that was ordered.
Sadly I had to make numerous trips to the counter for missing side ltems after I had to send salad back for remake due to host error (not wanted items not even on receipt bc of supposed hearing impairment).
I will never in my life agree to pay someone more than minimum wage when they cannot even greet a customer with a smile and get their order correct the first time.
Also why are they all but begging for tips when all they do is take your order? Itâs literally the first thing you see when you go to use your card to pay. Go actually be a server and walk the floor to earn your money, my gf does it and so can you.
My order is pictured as for the visually impaired. I will spell it out.
(1) nacho app extra Jalapeños (2) grilled chicken salad no tomatoes/cucumber (3) Big Nasty with tater salad for a side (4) sweet tea x2 one with lemons (5) side of tater soup.
It took me 30 mins and walking back and forth to get all of the food I actually ordered. Yes If look at the cameras Iâm still sitting in booth 114 at 6:52p.m. In a blue shirt.
Also both 114 seat is a hazard due to a missing button that will poke you.
Plenty of pictures attached to show they was...
Read moreIt was 8:45pm when we arrived w/ 3 parties ahead of us but there seemed to be an issue w/ the grill had already been turned off & cleaned for closing. The hours of service listed on website as well as on door clearly stated 10 pm so w/ an hour and 15 minutes before they actually close, no one could order. There was a lady, that I assume, is either a Shift Leader (not at all fit to be in this position)or lower management as she was being asked by staff as guidance on the matter by 2 co-workers and she never looked up from the floor she was sweeping. Not only that but she acted as if she could care less so we left along w/ others. I was really saddened that one of my favorite places to eat doesn't have more dedicated teammates than what I seen on this evening. I have worked in restaurants for many years as I am 52 y/o and it's a sad generation from when I was 16 and up. I started working at 14 y/o & left home at 16. We are not the same. I'd come to work at this store & it would be rocking w/in a month but I'd terminate the 4 that were working on this night. Period. So Mcalister's Deli, you may want to seek individuals who will WORK FOR YOU AND NOT AGAINST YOU!!...
