My family and I had a phenomenal experience. We wanted to try alot of different items, so we started with the chicken wings that the waitress recommended. They were beautifully decorated and tasted amazing. We also tried the spinach and artichoke dip, which was flavorful and the bread was cripsy and delicious. We sat and chatted while enjoying the beauty of the building and the beautiful ambiance. Upon some recommendations from our waiter we chose the corn pizza which was pretty amazing. Everything we tried was very flavorful. We had the grilled chicken pizza next which again you guessed it. Very good. The dough was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. It had a very pleasant texture and great aftertaste from the brick oven. It was really cool to watch our pizzas being made. We couldn't stop there and we tried the mushroom grilled cheese. A nice spin on an old classic. I was very satisfied with the wild mushrooms. I have never had a mushroom quite like that. Usually you stop there but like I said we came to experiment and try as much as we could handle, so we asked for the desert choices. After a couple coin flips we decided on the apple cranberry bread pudding and the cremoso bar. My mother enjoyed a cup of Australian coffee and her two boys finished everything in front of them. If you are interested in a great experience I fully recommend that you check...
Read moreI’ve been to Franka several times and always enjoyed great food with good service. Tonight we were one of only a small handful of tables when we arrived. The food was great, as usual, but we experienced some of the worst service imaginable. We were seated and a drink/appetizer/food order taken, but then it was like we became invisible. My tiny glass of water never got refilled until after I was done eating. Our server was talking to coworkers and even other tables, but never came to ours until we were done eating; a different server had to deliver our food because ours was too busy having a social visit for several minutes with another table who had already ordered.
An additional ingredient I added/ordered for my sausage pizza wasn’t on it, but at least it wasn’t on the bill…because she never entered it on our ticket for the kitchen to know about. The final proverbial slap in the face was the 5+ minutes it took for her to pick up and swipe the card so we could leave, after we waited nearly 10min for her to show up after we were finished eating. For a server who was regularly walking by our table every few minutes the entire time, it’s as if we became invisible to her. I would put it down as intentional malice, if it weren’t for the clear signs of her simply being a server who just doesn’t care,...
Read moreLove that this location offers brunch as well as their unique pizzas and other lunch options. Stopped on a Sunday around 11am and there was no wait. We were greeted and seated then brought water while our latte orders were being filled. We ordered breakfast sandwich and pancetta hash.
The lattes came soon afterwards. the barista is quite talented - a bear on the vanilla latte was a special treat. The almond milk latte doesn’t allow for a design but I was pleased to enjoy his bear. The lattes were very good. Our water glasses were kept filled while we waited for our food and the servers were checking on us and very friendly - engaging in conversation.
The food came and looked amazing! The sandwich was on a focaccia bun, loaded with greens, sausage, bacon, fried egg and a tomato paste sauce. The portion was very generous. It was delicious… and filling! The pancetta hash was a hash of diced zucchini, potatoes, red pepper, mushrooms, bacon and ham topped with three over easy eggs. There was a drizzle of sauce on top. It was so good and the perfect portion. Throughout the meal they checked on us and kept our water glasses filled.
Brynlea was our server. She as well as the others who checked on us, seated us and filled our waters were fabulous. Great find on a...
