McDonald's — Restaurant in Clive

At 8 pm while going to get food for the family, the employees had no clue as to what they were doing. The drive thru order taker would not stop mumbling, and could not care less or "keep a smile on the customers need to hear a smile" as mcdonalds is known for and as i have trained employees while working at multiple mcdonalds as management. I have even trained managers, and crew memebers becoming managers. This store is honestly trash, and i am surprised it is still open. We have been there three weeks ago and seen and took a picture of an apple slice sitting on the ground for well over 2 hours where ants were covering it. This location is NOT taking cleaning up as it should have, as i walked in tonight because the runner even forgot my sandwich for my fiance, there was still no comand going on with it being trashed. This is coming down to the point where i will personally contact a health inspector myself as i am starting tobget worried about the cleanliness of this store. And cooperate will be notified as well as to the training of the employees when even the grill members cannot make a simple sandwich correct or apealing as mcdonalds standards. Thos is honestly ridiculous. If negitive stars were available then i would have done so. Cleanliness and customers come first. Yet none are being maintained at any point. I honestly want and wish this store to be closed permanently, and i have never wanted so with any store i have been to and or managed. I order via the drive-thru and this was the worst customer service I have ever received. When I pulled up, it took about a minute or two to be greeted, no big deal, but greeted like this, "Yeah, I'm here and you can order whenever you want." That is really unprofessional.

Then, I had to repeat my order 3 different times for the girl to get it right. When I got up to the window to pay, she said "You had that order with the buffalo McChicken's right?" All huffy and puffy, like she was doing me a favor for being their and working. I gave her my money and I asked for a receipt, for which she replied "You paid cash, you don't get one." Well, I needed it for my expense report, which now I don't have. I guess, that is what it is.

When I got up to the next window, I was going to ask to speak to the manager, but she was already there. She looked like she was in a pissed off mood and ticked off that she even had to be working. Never said thank you or it will be just a minute, just basically shoved the food out the window and said "bye."

I get it, it is Labor Day and you are busy, but this is the worst customer service I have experienced at this McDonald's since moving to the Des Moines area. This experience makes me not want to go back, as I feel like I was a burden on the entire staff for placing a order, no more than $6 for my lunch.

I will drive the extra distance to go to a different location...

I decided to get some breakfast after I couldn’t sleep anymore longer, so I went to McDonald’s when they opened at 5am. When I got there the woman told me to wait and she would help me, I heard pots and pans clashing in the background. She came back so I could order, “what can I get for you” I told her I had a code from the app and gave the code to her and then proceeded with my order, large Carmel iced coffee, sausage McMuffin and a hash brown. She seemed annoyed that I was there and wasn’t friendly at all, when I got to the window she didn’t tell me my total and just held her hand out for my payment. Uhhh ok?… I got to the second window to get my food, she had to unlock the window and seemed more annoyed at that, handed me my coffee and closed the window. Another woman gave me my food and thanked me for coming and to have a nice morning. You open at 5am, you should be open and up and running when you open for business, not be annoyed with someone because they’re there. That woman needs training on customer service and pleasantries, if you’re having a bad morning or don’t want to be at work you need to put your fake face on and kill them with kindness. After tasting my coffee I threw it away and went to Starbucks, I got a free coffee there because the girl felt bad for the awful coffee I got...
