Where do I start! Well y'all, I've found another hidden quaint little gem. The ladies at Victoria's Diner are absolutely SWEET! The customer service is 4 SHO five stars. With all the beautiful christmas decorations, in what must be the downtown area, it gives Hallmark movie vibes, and I just love Hallmark Christmas movies, with little quaint diner's in them such as this one. So, first I was greeted with nothing but smiles and cheerfulness, second, they let me go get my McCafe coffee out of the car, I didn't want to bring it in, since it was my first time dining there and didn't know if they had a no other drink from outside policy or not, so the KUDOS were just adding up, third, the food was good, and the biscuits are phenomenal, when I cut it open steam was coming out, I wish I could've captured it on a pic, and the portion for the price was amazing, because my meal was under $10, fourth, their amazing, and fifth, the five stars, they're AMAZING! 😍
This place is filled with so much nostalgia from the old days, it just made me reminisce on how things used to be when I was a little girl growing up. It was nice just to see the ladies interacting with the customers, most undoubtedly local folks, made me want to just sit for awhile and watch the scenery. When I'm in the Clover area again, from now on, I'm going to make it a must to visit. Just to think, I was going to another place and didn't like how it looked on the outside, turned around and drove back the way I had come, and ran into this awesome hidden treasure, well hidden to me. 😊
I want to thank you ladies, every single one of y'all, for being so kind, accommodating, and just simply sweet. Y'all smiles are contagious, please don't change the way y'all are, some of us still love small hometown diner's with employees filled with big hearts.
KUDOS!...
Read moreto tell you that this place is extraordinary is an understatement the people the staff are wonderful the atmosphere is great but waiting 45 minutes for breakfast is ridiculous I love the fact that the waitress was always on point even though the place was packed but she make sure that everyone was checked on there was not a moment my cup was always full she was always making sure we were okay she was tremendous along with the other waitress that was in there they were on point and the cook was trying so hard to keep up with these orders but it was ridiculous but the fact that this place is just feels homey the reason why I gave it three stars 45 minutes just to wait for breakfast and on top of that it was ridiculous just for two eggs they charge $3.18 for two eggs that is a little bit much but the place is wonderful just got to be patient and 45 minutes after third shift was something would recommend hope they work on...
Read moreSmall, usually crowded, and if you dont know anyone that works there... Good luck. Been there couple times for breakfast, once for dinner. If you dont know the wait staff, it will take forever to get waited on. Took us 15 minutes just to get a drink order placed last time, almost an hour to get the food to the table. I understand if the the place is huge and not an open seat, but this place is small and they had five people "waiting tables". Those five people spent more time talking about what they did last night than anything else. Our server stood at the table behind us for twenty minutes talking about her plans for next weekend. The food is average, at best, and the service sucks. If you dont know anyone that works there, dont waste your time...
