Review from someone who has worked 4yrs in the food service industry:
Had high hopes but Blake's "lota-burger" gave me nothing but "lota-disappointment". I know that this location has only been open a week, but your first month is crucial as it sets the foundation of your consumer base. I understand that there will be long wait times due to high foot traffic, but after waiting for 30+minutes I was expecting the food to be worth the wait. Unfortunately that statement was far from true. Nothing but a room temperature burger, wilted lettuce, and a mushy tomato awaited me in that grease soaked wrapper. Devoid of any flavor or balance, except for the overwhelming taste of yellow mustard. Do you even season the burgers?
As I waited I was able to overlook the fry prep area, which had a warming drawer where the fries were kept. This thing was OVERFLOWING, and as expected the fries were hot but soggy. Should have warmed up the oven for some frozen crinkle fries instead.
If someone is willing to wait for 30min, 60min or more,whether inside or in the drive-thru you might want to ensure everything is hot and FRESH to avoid any "come backs" or negative reviews.
On the plus side the staff was friendly, yet seemed to be ill prepared for the opening rush
NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: With as much product you have been pushing out the door you need to change the FRYER OIL more often! When things come out dark, it's dirty/old oil and it destroys the flavor

Read moreUpdate 9/25/23 After waiting quite some time before trying again, not much has changed. No one in line or in the store however they have you park and wait for 15 minutes for a single burger. Still forgetting the add-ons. The screen to view the menu doesn't work so you have to know what you want before you get there. I submitted feedback twice via the survey and never got a response to either. So unfortunate as I love getting Blake's at other locations.
Absolutely terrible. Ordered online at 1:36 with a pickup time of 2:05. At 2:05 I went in the store because the pickup window was full of boxes (apparently not in use). The big sign that says "online order pickup" was over the only register in use. I cut the line and asked to pick up my order and was rudely told to go to the back of the line. Again I said it was online and another person came up and asked my name. She then said they don't start the orders until the pickup time and I would have to wait. At 2:30 the order was finally ready. Not a thank you or have a good day...just "here, we don't have drink holders". So off I go with four drinks and a bag. Of course we get home and all the paid add-ons like cheese and green chile are missing. This is my third time being disappointed. We have passed the learning curve phase and apparently this store has no plans to remedy this terrible service. I hope my experience will help, but given I have left similar feedback twice before and the overall google reviews online are barely two stars I doubt anyone...
Read moreThe staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean and presentable. Was not as busy as I've seen it being up there when my wife and I went in.... wait was not too long at all for our food. But should've checked it before I left. She got a Lota Burger and I got the Ranch chicken Sandwhich. My sandwhich did not have ANY of the fixings on it. Not even any ranch. Just two strips and the bun, the chicken was tasty enough, but wouldve been better if everything had been on it..... her burger, the most flavorful part of it was the bun itself. Everything else was pretty bland on it, and the patty was super thin, I've seen mcdoubles and pizza boxes that had thicker payties then that burger had.... Our sodas were both flat flat. Basically just colored sugar water. Her Dr. Pepper and my MountainDew both tasted exactly the same, just different colors, but they were out of straws so I didn't find that out till I left.
Response to owner: We will give you guys another shot in the future, see if things have been figured out a little better and smoothed out. I do understand this location is still a bit on the newer side, but forgetting something on a sandwhich that's in the name of the item ordered... thats kind of ridiculous. So fingers crossed it gets better, Clovis needs more options for dinning...
