EDIT: It's been about 8 months since we've gone here. Service was faster than ever. The staff, for the most part, was friendly. Our only issue was when I paid the bill and a second bill came up, the waitress was telling me it was my daughter's bill (who came in after us). I told her, "But my daughter's soda was on my bill." I was asked if I wanted it taken off and added to hers. I told her no, because my amount was enough to cover everyone's, so I'm not understanding why there was a second bill. She said she'd print it out for me, so we waited a few minutes and she then came out, pressed the receipt to the table, and said we were good to go as she was walking off.
No apologies, just rudeness. I'm not the one that made the mistake! Before Covid, my daughter and I went here at least once a week. This evening was my first night back... to celebrate my grandson's birthday.
We ordered, and later the waitress came out to inform me they didn't have any more of the Chicken Enchilada soup and since their thermals weren't working, they were attempting to thaw the soup "by hand" (in water), and it would be a while, so would I like the Potato Soup... because our other food was about to come up. Ok, fine... not what I preferred, because I ALWAYS order the Chicken Enchilada, but hopefully it would be ready so I could get some before leaving.
Food delivered, I ate my salad to allow my soup to cool. When I finished my salad, she'd asked if I'd like another. I asked if they had croutons, and she'd informed me they were actually out of several items and thinks croutons were one of them. She returned to say they, indeed, did not have croutons.
I'd finished my soup and asked for another. She brought it out and I'd expected it to be hot, but it was luke warm, at best!!! Do they maintain these soups at these temps all day? If so, it's definitely not hot enough to keep bacteria at bay!
My grandson had Chicken strips and fries, but he no sooner got in the car, he complained of his stomach hurting. An hour after being home, his dinner came back up!
Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience this evening! I didn't get what I really went for, and my baby ended up sick on his birthday!
I'm not sure I'll be back...

Was not asked for our order when appetizer arrived. 15 minutes later order taken. At an hour of being here, waiter has not refilled drinks and not even checked on us and forgot the crayons we asked for. He finally walks up and says the wait is due to being out of chicken crispers for one of our orders and asked for a substitution. 20 minutes later the manager arrives and said the long wait is due to being short staffed, kitchen backed up (she’s been back there cooking as well she says), our waiter is new, and then also due to her just finding out they are out of chicken crispers for the order. I told her yeah we know the waiter told us 20 minutes ago and got a substitute item for order however we had a kids crisper and another adult as well. No mention of needing a substitute for those plates. She said oh he probably didn’t know that those were on the order…um, sorry what?? He took our order!! We asked for refills and she said she’d be discounting our food. So 10 minutes later no refills so when she finally came with them we asked for the check for our apps and drinks and to please bring Togo cups. Well we are now at 1 hour 45 minutes with a hungry toddler and no Togo cups. We get up. Walk to door and tell our waiter, we asked for Togo, and check and nothing we are leaving. He said “you’re good”. No we aren’t, we are hungry and now have to go to Dion’s across the street to actually eat tonight. So yeah Chilis I’m over it! Not going back. Worst experience in Clovis in a long time. And FYI if you have to make excuses, make sure you aren’t lying to your guests. Just be honest, our waiter was not new he has been there for quite some time and if it’s that chaotic at a store you’re managing…..are you really managing...

Hostess said, just a minute need to see if a table available. Came back after 5 or so minutes and AGAIN asked how many in our party as by then a few more had come in. Told her 7 again, and this time, she said she had to talk to her servers as one had just gotten a large party. Okay.... 15 minutes later, she was nowhere to be seen, not cleaning or setting up a table and not talking to servers. THIS is how customers are treated? We walked out. Unbelievable treatment, no communication and this is mot the first time. Likely will not go back. Managers need to pay more attention, keep track of what's going on. Won't be going back anytime soon! THEY WERE NOT OVERLY BUSY AND PLENTY OF OPEN TABLES!!! There was one other party of 3 that walked out right after we did.
This visit was just okay. Service was great. But this is second time steak fajitas were tough. Today the black beans were cold. Told the waiter and he brought another cup. Too bad they weren't hot either. Not as cold, but not hot. Time to stay away from...
