
Iām very disappointed in the location. Manager that is there does not care about the customers or the issue that go on. I just canceled my membership at Clovis NM location. So I went in last month to cancel because thatās when they lady I talk to told me I could cancel my account. So when I went into the gym the guy I talk to told me they would charge me $50 for canceling right now even though I called ahead and she said I could come in and cancel and not get charged. So I asked the guy when I should come in to cancel, and he told me the 11th or 12th of a July so I came in yesterday on the 12th to cancel and they told me they will still charge my account on the 17th of $20 because I didnāt cancel before or on the 10th of July. I then told them what the guy said last month and they didnāt know what to do and the manager wasnāt there. So they gave me Corporates number. I called and literally ever number 1-4 or so that you have can choose from says that everything has to be desputed at your gyms location and then hangs up. Finally if you just wait on the line they will direct you to someone and it was a waste of 5 minutes because the person I talk to just said there was nothing they could do. (You are corporate for a reason?) anyways so I called back and left my name and number for one of the manager to call me when they got in this morning around 9. I waited 45 minutes so at 9:45 today 6-13-18 I called and asked for the manager and the girl I talk to said āoh yes actually she is not going to be i today but she talk to my general manager and they decided not to refund your moneyā and thatās when I said āwhat? Itās $20 and your manager didnāt even give me a time or day to talk to them so they can hear my side and how Iām a little frustrated.ā So then I call corporate again knowing I probably wasnāt going to get anywhere with them. Which I did not at all. I waisted a good 10 minutes talking to a guy that did absolutely nothing. So then I call my bank and see what all I can do and Iām very thankful I have my bank because they gave me a lot of good options but one thing the lady I talked to at my bank told me was that Planet Fitness is like a big MEME in there branch because there are a lot of issues about refunds and canceling your account and they still charge you for months after canceling. They are not trustworthy at all and they will bill you ridiculous amounts between $200.00-$500.00 per month and outside of your billing date. Although I was told it was a glitch and they fixed it i continued to have the same problem to where Dustin (former management) took care of my account an ended up having to open me up a new account because my account was still getting hit with high amounts of money taken out. This time Iāve asked for my account to be in freeze due to a lot of traveling Iāve been doing and there was no need for the account to be active if I was not going to be using it. The girl froze my account, I asked her if there was anything else I needed to do and she said no that I was fine until May before the yearly fee was going to be charged. Come to find out she lied to me, my account was only froze for one month and supposedly I had to continue to freeze every four months if I wanted it to continue being froze. So now Iām being charged a $54.18 fee that I will not be paying because this was a mistake on there end that there not trying to fix. There customer service is garbage and they now have Hannah Shirley as manager there who is unknowable and garbage along with the some of the staff members there as well as the gym that is dirty most the time with maintenance that should be done and disgusting restrooms that are not worth going into. The management of this gym is untrustworthy and continues to provide false information via scripted answers. All they want is your money. Your satisfaction is of no concern to them folks. If you were considering cancelling your membership then this might as well be your sign to avoid giving your money to people that run businesses like this. They are milking your pockets and still cutting your membership hours hoping you never notice or that you are too busy to complain.
You can pay the same price for PF in a different city and actually get 24/7 access to the gym. This gym offers the worst hours on weekends. Who closes their gym at 7pm? Why am I paying the same price as others in different cities that do have 24/7 access?
Take your money and run folks, all other gyms in Clovis offer 24/7 access. I would highly recommend utilizing them instead, as the owners of this one are robbing folks by cutting corners and...
