We ordered several dishes tonight in the hopes of finding our new favorite Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, this one rates near the bottom in our book. Of the five dishes we ordered, the only one that didn’t require added flavor was the sweet and sour chicken. Even then, it had an off-putting aftertaste. The mixed vegetables tasted like they were cooked with zero seasonings or flavors. The sauce was grayish with no flavor whatsoever-like thick tap water. The vegetables were cooked well, but other than that, the dish was a flop. We ordered the house chow mein and the chicken was mostly fat and the dish was lacking any type of flavor. Literally. None. The mu shu pork wasn’t too bad. It had a little bit of a smoky flavor, but was really only decent. The plum sauce made it more edible. Another dish we tried was the crispy beef. That one had some flavor to it, but required a good amount of added soy sauce to make it almost good. Overall, total letdown for $70 worth of food. Should have just poured a bowl of cold cereal.

Tired needs updating. I had the moo goo gai pan that had too many mushrooms, a fair amount of chicken but shy on vegetables. 3 small pieces or squash, 3 smaller pieces of broccoli. And this was supposed to be a white wine sauce, but it had too much sugar and brown I think soy was added mistake, to be a proper moo goo gai pan. I ordered the dinner which came with sizzling rice soup, but did not sizzle at all too dried out rice. Had okay flavor, the other appetizers were barely warm, as it seemed they were in a warming light, definitely not fresh. Fould wrapped chicken was different. Even the sweet sour sauce seemed watered down. As it barely adhered to spring roll or the pot sticker. Pot sticker was cold inside.

Came here for lunch today as it has been a while since I’ve been in. Tsing Tao has been here for years. Great food. I ordered the Kung Pao Lunch special. You get an egg roll, the smallest salad I’ve ever seen (lettuce and dressing only) and egg drop soup. I wanted Hot and Sour soup, but it was not exchangeable. I ordered the smallest Hot and Sour soup anyway, which is still huge. I’m not a fan of the peas and carrots they have in it, but it’s still very good. The lunch itself is kind of skimpy. Still a decent amount of food, but I’m used to having almost a whole 2nd portion of food intake home. This quantity was easy to consume most of it all at lunch. Still great food and a great restaurant. Check it out!

This should be 0 stars. I take a chance and go to this restaurant that somehow has good reviews. I was with my teenage son. I ask for an Arnold Palmer to drink which is ice tea mixed with lemonade. The server says we don’t do that. I said do you serve tea and lemonade and both answers were yes, but she still refused to make me an Arnold Palmer. Then we order the orange chicken and lemon chicken lunch special, the chicken all breading!!!!! Unbelievable for what I am paying for this lunch. And then the 2nd server who I brought attention to this substandard food dismisses my concerns and made me feel like I was being ridiculous!!! The ā€œfried riceā€ I ordered as a side was not fried rice, it was literally steamed rice mixed with a regularly cooked egg in it, no seasoning and no vegetables, please do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere!!!! I will never go there again and I would never recommend this restaurant to my...

I don't think it's the worst Chinese food in existence. It's edible, but it doesn't really feel like it has any flavor in certain dishes and then either they use the wrong sauces for other dishes or don't quite offer what's advertised? I don't know.

For example, I ordered the "Crispy Beef" which was advertised as "Hot and Spicy" and I would assume "crispy" because of the name.

It was none of these things. It was mush, completely mild with no heat at all, and it seemed like it had a sauce more appropriate for a sweet and sour pork or something. Maybe the sauce is part of it, but I'm cynical because I got none of what it was supposed to be (crispy, hot and spicy).

The beef and broccoli is also pretty bland. I had to add some chili crisp I had in the cabinet to make it worth eating. I'm sure these people are really nice and stuff, but the Food itself was very much a big miss this time...
