If I could give them a lower score I would! This place was HORRIBLE! It had been hit and miss in the past but it is one of the few locations with a play area inside where we can all get some relief from the 110° weather. When we walked in the kids immediately went back to the play area they had and all 3 came back out and said, "they didn't want to play in there because it was too hot". Mind you, we live on the other side of town and only come here because it is so nice for the kids to play in a protected environment. We decided to sit just outside the play area on the other side of the wall of glass separating the two areas of the restaurant. My wife and 3 children went to order our food, that was okay but the ice cream machine was down with a polite sign stating that the machine was down so no shakes or Mac flurry drinks. Only coffee bases drinks. FOR CHILDREN! I don't think so! Ordered our food and proceeded to pour our drinks.... No ice! In either of their two giant bins attached atop of the beverage dispensers. So we politely ask to have our cups filled with ice only to have not one but two employees argue with us and assured my wife and I that only one of the two work and we would have to get ice out of the "far one". We both politely told them, "No.... they are both empty"! We did get ice after a little haggling with the counter person, went to our table to wait for our order. In a reasonable amount of time a very nice young lady brought out HALF OF OUR ORDER. My wife went up to the front and asked the young lady for the rest of our order. She asked for the receipt, which my wife handed to her and the young lady again, just wanted to question my wife. THE LADY JUST BROUGHT IT TO OUR TABLE and she asks, " Did you go through the drive through"? She politely told the young lady, " the order was just brought out to our table and the order number is still on the table". Meanwhile everyone else's order is now getting cold. No offer to give us fresh hot fries because now the fries we have already received are getting cold while we wait for the staff to figure out what to do. I have experienced bad service from this particular location several times, flies, dirty tables, extreme heat in the restaurant. This one takes the cake! I will NEVER return to this location again! The prices are just as high as any sit down restaurant and I don't understand why they can't run the air conditioning in the play area, they certainly have the money. I may just never go to McDonald's...
Read moreOrdered here by mistake online. It's closer to my home so the app defaults to here, but I travel to the one on Nees and First instead just to avoid this place. This time I forgot to change the location of my order. Figured I'd give them another chance in case things have improved. Friday night, Ordered at 8:45pm. Arrived to curbside pick up and told them online I had arrived. We watched as the 1 other person who was there before us got sick of waiting and headed inside. 1st clue nothing had changed. Ppl in drive through kept being sent to the drive through pick up location and were waiting about 5 minutes for their order to be brought out to them. We counted a total of 4 cars come through the drive through in the time we waited. They were clearly not very busy. There wasn't even a line backing up for the drive through, but they kept sending ppl to the waiting area for drive through. We continued to wait a total of 20 minutes for them to finally bring out our 2 frappes and McDouble with no pickle. The frappes were good. Nice not to have the cup Crack and spill everywhere like times past.
The burger, had a pickle. The patty was burned black on the edges and dry! Ew! It was rubbery, dry and hard to chew. My teen said it wasn't centered on the bun and the melted cheese was weird and there was a lump under the patty that made it feel unlevel on the bun. He assumed part of the patty broke off during cooking and they put it on the bun anyway, that's happened in the past. Once he got to that spot though he discovered it was a HUGE clump of grilled onions. He quit eating it after that and threw it away!! Said it was just too weird and gross to eat!
This location is the worst! I'm thinking word has got out to avoid this location because they truly were not very busy. The One on nees/first is always busy with a line in the drive through. I show up to pick up my app order and they have it out to me in about 10 min MAX, usually less. This Nees/Willow location truly and consistently...
Read moreDon't eat McDonald's much anymore. I'm not going to spend as much for a Big Mac as I can get a decent french dip sandwich or something at a better restaurant with the increase in wages too fast food in California it is now the outlier the short time meal only. Only an emergencies. Probably better for the health of the state probably better for the health of all of us. Except for those who are doing this for a living their hours are being cut their benefits are being cut and yet they make 20 bucks an hour who cares it's not really making more money less hours for less work for less overall bring home pay it's all a shell game and it's affecting the morale of the worker. The automation in the restaurant is awful. You're forced to make your own order on a dirty kiosk after months of prodding McDonald's has actually put in hand sanitizing things near the kiosk unfortunately alcohol-based hand sanitizers are ineffective against enteric diseases such as norovirus or introbacter. I know this because I'm an infection preventionist The other red flag at all McDonald's restaurants is the stupid presence of the air dryers in the bathroom one of the number one causes of the spread of bacteria and viruses in men's rooms and women's rooms. These little blowers make everything an aerosol so do the power flush toilets there have been some changes in the urinals in the men's room that have gone waterless that was a good move One good move three bad moves. McDonald's will go the way of Sears they will go the way of sambo's because they have decided to change the look from a kid-friendly clown look to a dark gray sad depressed artsy look that has nothing to do with kids. The idea was the kids meal the quickie little burger because the little boogers...
