Not for me. My boyfriend and I usually eat at a different phö place but they were closed so we thought we'd give this place a try. I get the vegetarian phö since I don't eat meat but they didn't have it on the menu. I figured that's fine, no phö for me today, but doesn't hurt to ask right? I asked and they said yes. I was nervous about the language barrier, I thought he was going to give me tofu and chicken. He never came back out for me to let him know so I crossed my fingers. The food came quickly and I was relieved there was no chicken in my phö. However, there was only these chunks of over-fried tofu floating around. No veggies. The tofu was rubbery and disgusting. I tried, I ate a couple cubes, but yuck. The broth was flavorless despite seeing bits of meat in it (for me, yuck), I even spiced it up, but I did not care for this phö. My boyfriend said it was just ok. If you eat meat you might like this place, if you...
Read moreThis is the 3rd time I have been to this restaurant because its conveniently close to my home. The 2 previous times, I came with friends and the man & woman waiting on us seemed to not know any English and the lady didn't even act like she understood or wanted to understand. The man was ok but the woman was very rude, both times. This place is very close to my house so my friend & I thought that maybe the service would be different. We came in, smiled and said hi but were met with a frown & no greeting from the lady. We sat down and the lady tried to insist that my friend put her toddler on the end of the table but my friend wasn't comfortable sitting her child there so told the waitress she wanted the child on the side, where she was. The lady acted very angry and when we left, she actually threw the receipt at my friend angrily. There are a lot of pho places that have much better food, i won't ever go there...
Read moreWent on a Tuesday afternoon with my brother and the place was empty, not complaining because we got awesome service. I ordered Vermicelli Bowl with pork and my brother order the Vietnamese Beef Stew. Both were delicious but I should've asked for crushed peanuts instead of whole and opted out of the fried onion and cilantro with my vermicelli bowl (I dislike onions and cilantro didn't pair well). Vegetables were fresh, pork was good and the beef I tried from my brother's bowl was savory and delicious. We also ordered a taro boba which honestly was disappointing as it had a very artificial taste to it but that's not what we came for so we didn't really mind. Overall, we got delicious fresh food, a clean place and great service so it can't get...
