We went here last night after karaoke at bobby salazars ended, which was a blast by the way. The dress code isn't posted but my husband was refused entry due to and apparent dress code violation. I gave him my hoodie so he could get in even though it was so tight, just so we could get in and join our friends already inside. I would have left right then and there if our friends weren't having a great time I didn't want to ruin anyone's night and they were our ride. After we got in the doorman was eyeing us the whole time.At that point I was mad and told my husband don't spend a penny here they don't deserve our money. But he did end up buying a round of Jaeger bombs for our friends. First two people my husband asked ignored him. Next guy said I'm not a bartender ask someone else. Finally we got a guy to make us our Jaeger bombs, Without the "bomb", and told us he would charge us $3 extra per drink to separate the Jaeger and the red bull, they just gave us it mixed together already. My husband is still wearing my sweater at this point 3 sizes too small and so he finally took it off because he was hot and constricted, and as soon as he did we got kicked out by a different guy. They claim it was because he was wearing white but there were at least half a dozen other people in there wearing white. When I told the bouncer this, I expect to see all the other people wearing white kicked out with us. Mind you in the bar the whole time we were sitting on the barstools minding our business(fuming mad to ourselves but trying to get over it so we could have a good time), but in the bar we made no scene. The bouncer then told us nobody else is kicked out because my husband is the one they have a problem with(why? Is it because he's a big guy? Do you feel threatened? Does he look like a thug? Not sure what the issue was). If a policy is a policy whatever but it wasn't posted or ever explained why we weren't welcome and why my husband was harassed. It's hard not to get mad and yell back at these idiots the way they talk to you but it just gets you nowhere only more mad. Luckily my friends were already leaving when we got kicked out so we just got an escort to the door 😂 We will never go back, places like this do not deserve anyone's money. Considered calling BBB or the owner but from other reviews seems like that will get us nowhere. At this point I think I'll just try to forget about it, but other people deserve to know this story, seems like we are not the only ones who have encountered this. Never ever going back and if this place burned to the ground I...
Read moreAvoid This Bar!!! They are thieves!! They rip people off and don't do anything about it. I spent$9.00 on three beers on a Thursday night which is 3 dollar corona night and got charged $12.00! True that's not a lot of money but they way they handled the situation was unprofessional. I had called old town saloon in Fresno ca to help me with this problem. A bartender named trish had answered the phone being nice at first , telling me to call her boss Larry, and that she couldn't do anything about it. She offered me a free drink chip which I eventually accepted because she made it sound like that's all she could do. So I drive down to the old town saloon to collect this token. When I get there she tells me she had called her boss Larry ,and he had told her not to release a free chip to me. I was nice about it and left my name and phone number for Larry. When I was leaving I realized she had talked to her boss and that they did not talk about any solution to what had happened. So I call back asking if anything is going to be done. She told me I was going to have to wait to talk to Larry. But she had just talked to him and it sounded like they had no intention of refunding me. The conversation ended with her threatening me with the bouncers at their location. The next day I had called again with my father and again they had been rude to both us trying to get themselves out of this situation. Needless to say I will be reporting this to the better business bureau and I will never return and will advise anyone who drinks here to watch their tab. There might just be an extra charge for drinks you never ordered. I wonder how many people this has happened to? I wasn't even drinking! I bought 3 drinks for my friends birthday. Careful while...
Read moreI have been to almost every bar in Fresno, and this bar is by far the worst bar I have ever been to. I've been to this bar about half a dozen times. It's always the same. The security will shove you into other people, stare at you in the eye and step on your toes to get you to say something to them so they can kick you out.. Bartenders are fair, drinks are fairly priced. DJ is okay, dancing area is small, one bar, bathrooms are smaller than an airplanes, only about 5 high top bar tables. Pool table is in an awkward spot. Extremely strict dress code..no sports attire (t shirts, hats, polos, etc)...can't wear any white tops...save your money and go elsewhere...literally anywhere else and you'll find a more friendly staff and not as strict...
