Short Review:
Clean hotel, nice and attentive staff you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a place to stay nearby old town Clovis you should consider this hotel!
Long Review:
Location: off the freeway has good access to downtown Clovis, nothing spectacular from a view standpoint but you can see the mountains so that was a plus
Staff: they were very attentive and kind, we had called to try to check in early and they were very helpful when we arrived! Services was great!
Price / amenities: the price for 1 night was to be expected, $150 but the hotel does have amenities like a pool and some workout equipment as well as a free continental breakfast so those are always added bonuses!
Room: we stayed in a double queen suite, the room itself was alright, just beds, bathroom a little closet, tv dresser and a desk. overall very clean nothing squeaky or broken and everything worked, minor cosmetic stuff but not a deal breaker in anyway. Walls were a bit thin though we didn’t run into problems but could be challenging if you have a bad neighbor
Beds: Beds were comfy nothing jaw dropping but you can sleep!
Bathroom: Shower was good (water temp and pressure were fine) the drain for us was broken but not the end of the world everything worked fine, maybe the one harp was the door to the bathroom was large and did not stay open, it always swung closed so that was a bit annoying.
Overall thoughts: Other than the walls being a tad thin and the bathroom door being a slight hinderance, I would stay here again absolutely! Price was alright, room was clean and the...
Read moreBooked two rooms for our planned family trip down to Fresno. Both were booked for two queen size beds. I called the hotel at 3pm the day of check in to confirm our reservation and room types. We arrived at 1am in the morning and went to check in. The front desk attendant said he had one room with two queen beds but only had one other room left and it was a king room that he could pull in a roll away. That wouldn't work for our situation which we explained to him. With no other options we took the two rooms and we're waiting for the roll away to be delivered. After more than 30minutes and at 1:45am I called down to front desk attendant only to be told there was no roll away beds left. We now have someone sleeping on the FLOOR because the manager overbooked the hotel. After the front desk attendant attempted to reach the manager to figure out how to rectify the situation and no one answers he explained we "should" receive our money back because that's what usually(!!?) happens. Now let's see if I even hear from the manager tomorrow.... On top of everything else the showers weren't even clean, there was black long hair on the walls in the shower. I can't wait to get out this hotel first thing in the morning...
Read moreWalked into a beautiful hotel. Was greeted by a friendly customer service agent. Checked into our room. Was moved into another room due to unexpected circumstances. But the hotel staff was amazing to take care of it. While we were visiting family. Bravo to them. Morning breakfast was delicious, healthy, and filling. Overall. What an enjoyable visit. We will be going back and staying here. Great staff. Thanks for a wonderful and accommodating stay. Update as of 2/ 23: On our return visit. I guess the hotel didn't quite have the guests in mind. Let's say the breakfast was not good. Actually, it lacked freshness. The pastries were cold and hard. NO FRESH FRUIT. other than a few small and ugly oranges. The oatmeal was lumpy. As a return guest, this time definitely lacked the Marriott experience that we were looking for. Now, they do have some hidden treasures close by. It has a great walking path right behind the hotel. Access to plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Old Town Clovis is also within walking distance. If you enjoy antique shops. This is a pretty good...
