Normally i drive to roswell if I want to eat at TX Roadhouse, so I was super excited to hear one was open in clovis. Typically I like to wait some time after a restaurant first opens because I know how busy it can be, I just couldn’t wait any longer. We Made reservations for 6:45, got there at 6:30, still a wait but they have the option to grab a drink and sit outside while you wait (patio has heaters and in a perfect location to keep you out of the wind) we didn’t get called until 7:30 and let me tell you it was worth it. Our server was super nice, did her absolute best to provide the best service under the circumstances. I seen other memeber of their staff including Management checking on tables, helping clear tables, helping run food or drinks to the consumers and Even though The staff was slammed, everyone was dancing, smiling, participating in their traditional TX Roadhouse “yee haws” for birthdays and that’s what makes this place so great. Ive always admired TX Roadhouse’s values when it comes to making sure the staff has fun and the consumers are well cared for. Food was decent and beer was yumm (probably the best part) I have no complaints. Only issue I have, are people who complain about the wait or the food or the service. I wish everyone understood what it takes to open a brand new place. They are probably short staffed like everyone else around here and I’m sure there’s still some kinks to work out, they’ll get it. It’s still early, mistakes will be made but I know they will work hard to make it an even better experience.
Keep it up, you’re doing a great Job welcome to clovis Nm and Congratulations on your...
Read moreI went to the restaurant to place a to-go order since the online system was not functioning. I decided to order an appetizer and two entrees at the bar. Unfortunately, my to-go order took over an hour, and I observed several people receiving their food before me, even though they arrived later and placed their orders after I did.
To my surprise, the "manager" mistakenly delivered food to a couple of guys sitting next to me instead of attending to my order. When she approached me and asked if there was anything she could do, I politely requested her to check on my to-go order. Interestingly, the guys sitting next to me, who placed their orders 20 minutes after mine, had already received their food.
I watched as the manager walked back to the kitchen but returned without any food or updates. She walked straight back to the dining room, and did not bother to provide me an update
Fortunately, the two bartenders today (7/7/23 @ 7PM) working that day were extremely friendly and helpful. They managed to retrieve my food for me.
To top it all off, after the 5 minute drive home. The appetizer sampler was cold, rest of food was edible. Glad I had a gift card, it helped me remember why I don’t eat at this franchise.
While the bartenders provided exceptional service, I cannot overlook the poor experience I had with the rest of the staff. Therefore, I would rate the bartenders 5 stars for their excellent service, but I would give the rest of the...
Read moreTo keep it short it's not my first experience at a Texas Roadhouse, so I know what to expect, this is my first time eating inside the Clovis N.M. location. And the food itself didn't disappoint 5 out of 5 stars easy, the atmosphere I'm not particularly fond of built in seating as in a bigger dude, but at least I fit in the both lol, The service is where I feel this location left something to be desired, no e of the service seemed quite thrilled to be their but I wasn't served by all the servers I was served by destiny, while she did take our orders and promptly and professionally and. Given the benefit of the doubt as it WAS busy, I felt that my service was a little less than earnest than that if my associates, to be exact I felt like i was receiving the "Blacks don't tip, so ibwillbtreatvthem however service" which us ironic seeing as to how I was actually the only person at my table that tipped her, even tho she slapped the pen on the table like I was inconveniencing her by asking to use her pen to leave that very tip. Again her service wasn't bad at all, I just felt an air of attitude in the way she handled our table, i've worked in fast food myself i know hiw stressful it can get when busy, im bkt holding it against her.(If anyone from Texas Roadhouse in Clovis reads this review don't take it to hard and punish her for it), just make sure your staff knows to treat all customers the way you want customers...
