Ok, this is my third visit here for dinner. I honestly love the c serving staff. The Bartenders and the hostesses really take good care of you. But each time I've gone and ordered anything other than a burger, it's been horrible. They need a better cooking staff. Burgers I've order have been really good. I don't know who is cooking when. Burgers were ordered during lunch time. But dinner time entrees that look good on the menu; so far have been simply horribly burned or very over cooked. I ordered ribs the first time and chicken the second time I went for dinner.

Had the Asian bowl with half chicken and half sharp, daughter had the grilled cheese with fries. I had a beer and the wife got some chicken (not pictured) she ate it fast because it was delicious, and she had the fish bowl drink

Oh boy oh boy. So my son got baptized today so I figured let's go somewhere "nice".. well I was sorely wrong . First off we had a party of 7.. so not to much .. 2 were children. The place was not busy at all, there was maybe 2 others in the whole building who ordered food, and 2 at the bar. We waiting for an hr if not longer for our food! When we got it the childrens French fries were cold ,their chicken strips looked as tho they were fried 2 times 2 days ago! The bagged chicken strips at Weis that sits at the hot bar looked, tasted, and felt fresher. My crispy chicken salad was awful the chicken was bone cold and the lettuce looked as if they pulled it out of a premade bag! The mashed potatoes were freezing and stiff and the stakes were nothing but grissle , my grandpa sat there for a good 30 mins just trying to find a edible piece of meat. Hiss mac and cheese was cold, and looked nothing like Mac and cheese and there again, it was cold .. he couldn't even eat it . Those who asked for medium rare got burnt steak and those who ask for well done got medium rare. The buns tasted like they've been left out all night and the service was horrible. Instead of being sympathetic our waiter was just non-responsive and soul faced as it we did something wrong. We asked for the manager and he said the food came out the second it was made. Mind you, we waited an hour if not longer and it was stone cold ! He said the best he could do was offer a small discount. Which in turn he tried to get away with not putting it all on for discount! Most of us couldn't even finish our food, which in my family is unheard of ! and the fruit that they gave one of the children came from one of those 99 cent canned fruits you get in the store. This place was awful! Next time just go to Burger King. The food at least there is a little more fresh and they work with you if they've...

We finally got a chance to visit this place while visiting relatives in the Shamokin/Coal Township area. We've heard nothing but great things about Brewsers from the many friends and relatives. The building used to be a Bonanza back in the day.

We walk in to see a substantial bar and lots of seating. Several other areas to sit, including an area with booths. TV's all over the place with various sports events on. I'm thinking I like this place already.

The drink menu was decent, but it was he beer menu that caught my eye. Several beers on tap with the usual macros and a well considered selection of micros from all regions of the USA. Rotating taps ensure a great selection without the boredom associated with some places. A lot of thought went into the bar setup.

The menu is extensive, but not overwhelming. A few signature items surrounded with some decent pub grub. A party of four. Two ordered burgers, one ordered the steak sandwich with caramelized onions, and I ordered the cod fish meal. All of the food we ordered was fresh, well prepared and quite good. The prices were reasonable as well.

The service was excellent. The food was brought out with precision timing while our server kept checking in to be sure all was alright

All in all, a great place. While situated in a small town,Brewsers would be a nice addition in any locale. The owners have done a good job of bringing a venue with an urban feel to the Shamokin/Coal township area We plan to stop again when we next...

This is the 2nd time that my fiancé has taken me to this place. The 1st time I wasn't impressed because the ceiling dripped water on our table, but I was willing to give it another chance. This time, we had a dry table, but the service was so slow I just wanted to up and leave. The food and drinks were good, don't get me wrong. But, waiting for our meal for about 15 minutes after we had our soup and salad and then waiting at least that long for her to come back with the check once we were finished, and then another 10 minutes or so before she actually came back to pick the check up and process it. Holy Moly. Hell no I don't want dessert, I gotta get back home and get to bed before the sun comes up. The only reason they got 3 stars here was because the food was good. It wasn't quick, but it was good. Not sure if she's gonna be able to talk me into a 3rd time here. It will have to be some very...
