Postage Plus — Local services in Shamokin

I’m sorry but I always read there hours the day before I need to go there and there always closed early which is ridiculous. If there going to close early every day they should post new hours. Last night it said they close at 4:30 today, so I rushed from work and pulled up exactly at 4:19pm on the dot and there door is locked with there lights on, which means there closing early. Also it says 4:30 on there door. This has happened multiple times... If they don’t want to work a full day they should find a new job or change there hours if they need time to close up. Stop posting 4:30 if your going to lock doors early. I’m going to now add that they added a gun shop which has made things worse. You have to stand in a long line and wait forever because there is only one person now taking care of packages. The other woman is always helping people buy guns. Up top of that they closed early yesterday when I clearly read the time before I went. So basically you have to drive all the way there to see if there actually open or not because they randomly close early with just a note on the door. I really wish we could get another ups store in this town because this one...

I went through postage plus times before and never had an issue. We sent packages that got back to their destination fast. Today we call because we keep getting notices from the carrier we were supposed to send our cellphone back. We dropped it off July 8th, which was well over a week and a half ago and got nothing but attitude. I understand fully we made the accident of throwing the tracking number away but any other time the packages arrived well fast enough. I was told to contact the UPS drop off after a week of not hearing and that's what I did, only to basically be laughed at and made a fool of. I showed up at Postage Plus just before closing on a Thursday night, all parcel carriers had picked up for the day. With a very time sensitive package I needed to overnight for a new job I was applying for, Postsge Plus went above and beyond for me. The lady who I presumed the owner began calling and texting all of her carriers to see if they were by chance, still in the area. After finally reaching the UPS driver by phone after multiple attempts we learned the driver was still in town and could swing by for the package. The package arrived the next morning at 10 am and I start the new job on Monday!
