Weis Markets — Local services in Shamokin

Wow I thought cvs was bad I have never in my 42 years of living been spoken to the way I have been today over a prescription that they been telling me since Friday would be filled mon then Tues now wensday I was be little spoke to like a dog most likely because of what kind of medication it is so I was judged immediately and treated awful I would do whatever u can to avoid this pharmacy I have names and I will be calling the higher ups im making it a mission to make sure Noone else gets treated like this all because of the medication your picking up so basically come to weis they will not have your prescription when u are do to have it it will be 3 to 4 days late they will lie have u walk all the way there then tell u 15 mins it will be ready wasted hour in a half of my time then tell me after there 15 mins which was really 30 that they dont have it again so going on 4 days late for a important prescription and again the lady thinks she's gonna be a pharmacist amd treat people like that we will see when I am done making the calls just really really think before u pick a pharmacy your life is in there hands and noone should be treated...

Since I moved to coal township back at the end of December, I've been here every week, sometimes 2 or 3 times during those weeks. It's small and quaint. They don't carry everything but it's OK. Everything is different up here than it was back in Berks county. Stores back home carry a LOT of goods where here they're lacking. I don't know why this is. Surely people up this way would want their local stores to carry more items, as I've heard quite a few saying so. However, the buildings are only so big, so only so much merchandise can fit. It just seems that everything I liked, either was once carried, then all of a sudden it's stopped being carried or it was never carried there to begin with. I make due, it's just irritating, you know? Overall though, I really do like this Weis, better than the one that was in Coal Township. They've been so nice to me there. One time after checking out, I forgot a bag at the self checkout. It was just a hair product but someone else walked off with it. I am rating only on the reason of my visit to this stores Shamokin location which was to visit Weis's Pharmacy Department. The Pharmacist that took my order was very kind, which is rare these days believe it or not lol, so for that alone I would of gave them a good review but she didn't have me waiting around while she talked on the phone or started other orders. She didn't just blow off that fact that I was seeking a specific Manufacturer of my Medication and understood the reasoning behind it. All in all if I could remember her name she definitely deserves some recognition for the fact that I've been to about 50 different Pharmacies in my life and she was one of the top 3 that filled my order right away, understood my request & didn't just say we don't carry them and lastly her ora made a usual irritating trip to a pharmacy that was not my regular one, finally a good experience to the point I might start taking my prescriptions there every month.
