Beef 'O' Brady's — Restaurant in Cocoa

My son and I decided to stop by Beef O'Brady's to have dinner. He ordered a steak and I ordered a burger. The waitress dropped off the meals a few minutes later and walked away. When I was putting Mayonnaise on my hamburger I noticed that the top part of the bun was very cold hard and burnt on the inside. I was pretty disappointed. I waited for the Waitress to come back for about 15 minutes.I finally put mayonnaise on the bun and went ahead and tried to eat it. It was not very good. The waitresse stopped my son as he was coming out of the restroom and ask of everything was OK. He thinking that she had already spoke with me, said yes. We tried to flag her down for a few minutes. The manager saw us and offered to make a new burger. We had been there for over a hour. I was so disappointed. I just wanted to go home. The manager took $10 off our meal. The waitress gave us our check and walked away. After 20 minutes of waiting. We took the check to the bar. The Bartender asked what we needed. I asked if she could take care of the check. She looked across the room to our table and said the waitress is there right now. She started to walk away and I said. "Can you please take care of our check here. We've been waiting for a long time. The bartender seem to be okay with us paying the check there. However, as we were walking out the door she said to the man that she had taking care of. "now, before we were rudely interrupted" I was sick to my stomach! I'm still so disappointed. I've been there many times. This is the first bad experience. But I will never go back there again. I just had to get in here and give one of the managers Shawn a special "kuddos". I ordered carryout and the food was wrong when I got home (it wasn't anything badly reflective on the girl that took my order and checked me out as it was a simple "one-button-mishap" on their POS, as to why my food was wrong n not edible...) however when I called and spoke to Manager Shawn he was so attentive and had probably what is the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE and MANAGERIAL SKILLS that I have seen in 4 years! We don't order from Beef Obradys very often but do maybe every 2 or 3 months as we pass the location allot and quite frankly Shawn's attitude and performance alone, makes me want to gamble on Beef OBradys more! He replaced everything correctly and even threw in a "plus one" to show Beef OBradys cares! Like if every establishment had a 'Shawn'?!?!?! Our whole country would be in a better mood and be able to expect more again! I just had to write this! I don't do reviews often and it's been a couple days but I just have to give credit where...

I've enjoyed this location on at least three occasions and know what to expect: personable services, accommodating options, warm food, and a full stomach.

The Cheesy Bacon Chicken is my go-to, no matter how many times I try to convince myself that I'll order something different. It's just the right amount of food for me: Two small chicken breasts (tastes wood-smoked) topped with sautéed mushrooms, two slices of smoked bacon, and creamy cheddar jack. The honey mustard on the side makes a great dipping sauce or topping. It also comes with seasoned rice and steamed broccoli. The flavors complement each other, so I enjoy mixing up the rice, vegetable, and meat to get a slightly different experience with each bite. At 960 calories minimum, it's not hard on my diet, either.
