Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Cody

Agree with other patrons who rated this establishment 1 star only because they could not rate it zero. I was there Monday night on July 1st, 2019 thinking that since this was Pizza Hut a very recognizable chain that our group could expect the same service and attention to detail. DON’T BE FOOLED! In my opinion the employees there were the most untrained, and unorganized bunch of youngsters that anyone could have hired. They started off fine by seating us promptly and getting drinks for our table. That was the extent of the service, as we were totally forgotten after that point. We had to ask on 3 separate occasions to get the salad bar filled which took 30 min. Then I actually had to raise my voice to get someone to take our order. We had been seated for 45 min and I was starting to get upset. The couple who were seated ahead of us had already gotten their food, ate, paid for the meal and left. A couple who came in 30 minutes after us received their food when I finally had enough. I asked for the manager and I was visibly angry when I instructed her and them on their ineptness and said I was willing to pay for my drinks but that I was leaving and they could cancel my order. Met up with a friend for a pizza. Very happy they had open indoor seating. When the waitress came to our table, I asked if we could order a deal on their app. Had to ask her manager who didn’t know, but didn’t think so. Ok, no problem. It then took forever for the waitress to remember to come back and take our order. It took her forever to get our sodas—I had to go up and asked for them. She then came back and said the pizza broke apart when taking it out of the oven, but they would make us another one and give us 10% off of our order. Thank goodness the Pizza Hut in my home town has better customer service because 10% is laughable, especially with all the problems we were having. We were there 2 hours to eat half of a pizza. Thank goodness we had plenty to chat about. The pizza was (finally) good, though. Addendum: customer service got back to me, 'wanted to make it right.' Great place to get a quick bite. Sis and I had been shopping and were heading for home. Realizing neither of us had eaten, this was the perfect place to dine. Pizza was awesome and, I admit, I took a nap on the way home.

6.2.2022: Things have certainly changed. Since the last time we were here it appears that there was a paint job, upholstery renewed, perhaps the tablecloths were changed. There was no buffet I think it's only being served during certain hours of the day because of Covid. But the pizza was terrific as were their breadsticks which are to die for. Sometimes I think I just like to make my meal out of the breadsticks. As usual sis and I both took half of our pizzas home with us and then I enjoyed mine for dinner. Overall I would probably give it a rating of a four, rather than a five, simply because the buffet is no longer an option and they have whimsy flimsy little boxes that you get to take your pizza home in.
