Maurizio's Pizza — Restaurant in Colebrookdale Township

First let me say that the staff is unfailingly courteous and cheerful and friendly, which is unsurprising, because your attitude is reflected in your food, and the food here is wonderful. I have to admit that I've never had anything but a cheesesteak here (or cheesesteak variant like a cheesesteak boli), and I may never have anything but a cheesesteak here because they're amazing and now this place is indelibly linked to cheesesteaks in my mind in a Pavlovian kind of way. I can't even drive past that intersection now without thinking of cheesesteaks. I gave this place only four stars for ambience because it's not a crystal palace with marble floors, and only a crystal palace with marble floors is worthy of this food. It's a nice, clean shop though. There is an excellent chance that your food will be made by teenagers, and that they will be incredible at it. How did they get so good at such a young age? Well, this is clearly a family-owned-and-operated business, so these kids were taught to make good food probably before they could walk. Is that a violation of child-labor laws? Not when...

Ordered special 1 pizza 18 wings 21.75 2 fries 1 side cheese. How's that cost 45.00. I sent my wife for pickup. I only ordered for a deal and I got cooked. I don't order out for this reason. Pizza was great wife loved the wings but not worth the 45.00 and change. Not when it should have been 30 at most. I asked about special price it was confirmed on phone and no charged that at counter. Stopped in last night for the Grand Opening! Purchased a pizza, cheesesteak, mozzarella fries, and garlic knots. Everything was delicious. My kids devoured the cheesesteak. My wife always calls me a pizza snob. Nice knowing that I don’t have to drive all the way to Brooklyn anymore for a good slice of pie… Kudos to the chef for nailing the crust and sauce.
