Connected business lane from Galbraith makes this an easy drive to avoid the intersection. The lady that took my order was super friendly. She had a smile in her voice. Line at drive thru went pretty quickly. I thought I would have to wait longer since the line was out to the road, but no. As it turns out, they must have a stockpile of old cold and halfway to mold chicken tenders. Just like popeyes, if you order 5 tenders, you'll get 2 hot fresh, delicious tenders and 3 very old, very cold pieces of what used to be tenders. But this time at KFC, they kinda drew the line when I ordered a 16-piece chicken tender meal. So if you do the math, you'll know I only got about 5 or 6 fresh tenders! Really makes my blood boil, and when I look at the receipt, it makes my eyeballs bleed. I also decided to try the NEW 8 piece hot wings they were advertising all over the place and all through every single football game I sit through! They look so freaking good!! Making my mouth water all day I just had to try them! Had to! I HAD TO TRY THEM!! Every single one of them was old and cold! I was really shocked!! This place is like 0.3 miles from my house! Not even a half of a freaking mile!! And they got that cold?? Really?? Cmon really!!?? Let this be a lesson to me. My own fault for assuming they were really busy and had a bunch of...
Read moreIT'S OVER NOW... This used to be the best KFC on the west side of Cincinnati, with fast & polite service, fresh food, and accurate ordering. That is gone, now replaced by a nearly full staff of rude unconcerned, inept people. - I ordered. I drove away, only to get home 15mins later and find my order was VERY wrong. I called the restaurant... they "couldn't hear me" on the phone. I drove back. 15 minutes. Explained the situation - "pull forward..." No apology, no "we're sorry, let us fix that for you" - none of that.
I give my incorrect order back through the drive-up window. Still no apology for getting it wrong, or having me drive back. No re-making the order, instead they took 2 pieces of chicken out and put in 2 different ones. The youngish order-taker-cashier shut the window after handing me my bag back, while I was still talking.
THIS NEXT PART IS MY FAULT. I should have sat at the window and checked the order... why? Because they did it again... I'd asked for, and PAID for specific pieces of chicken, not random grab-whatever. And... that's that. The place was fully staffed, and they could not get a 4-peice order correct.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. USED TO BE GOOD. TIMES CHANGE. PS. If you are the owner of this franchise and are reading this, change your staff or...
Read moreMy experience with Quinton, the General Manager, was very unprofessional. His ego superseded his position as well as his manners, and the lack thereof in communicating with his team as well as others was subpar if that - considering his position. Making comments such as "why do I have to communicate to my team if I did x,y, and z" doesn't align with the necessary qualities of effective leaders. After speaking with him and reading the previous reviews, there is a clear correlation between his attitude and the average to below average ratings given. This can also explain the poor customer service I've received the last 2 times I've been there over the last 8 months. You can't expect to build a team who can effectively communicate with customers and provide above average to excellent service with a GM who doesn't understand the importance of effective communication as that is the bases for superb service. Invest in some proper training and start with your management as it is...
