Service makes a business money, not the food. & I think today they forgot that part.. today I stopped in for lunch and had nachos with some modifications and I had a chicken Street Taco with modifications. I got my food and all was good. After finishing my nachos I realized the street Taco was on corn tortilla Which I do not like. Nor did I realize it came on a corn tortilla.. on the menu it wasn't noted.. the server told me everything that came on the street taco but failed to mention it came on a corn tortilla. I also failed to ask. So now I've decided I'm going to ask the server if I can have flour tortilla in place of the corn tortilla and she brought it back to me and proceeded with wanting to charge me for the flour tortillas. I asked her why did they need to charge me and she said because I'm getting flour tortillas when the street tacos come with corn tortillas.. I asked if I not be charged and she then proceeded to get a manager. The manager comes up to the table ask me what the problem is and while I starting to explainin he rudely cut me off. I nicely tell him that it's rude to ask a question and then cut the other person off as they're explaining. It ultimately ends with him grabbing the plate forcefully off the table because he refused to give me the flour tortillas. so while I'm at the counter I said well now I don't get the option to take the taco home and he blatantly says it's your fault not ours. And then continues to tell me that street tacos all come with corn tortillas... when I have had many street tacos at restaurants and they always clarify or confirm "corn or flour tortilla" Yes, I could've asked....but I forgot. And having been a server before I know that if you do your due diligence in taking orders, you confirm, clarify and reconfirm to further avoid these types of interactions. Which ended in a screaming match with the manager. And a server with one less tip. (Which was the first time I've...
Read moreMy family has been eating there for the past 10 years and we have always loved the food and the service until now. We placed an order through an delivery service and were notified later that an item was “out of stock” and would not be delivered. We called to see what was the issue and the girl on the phone was outrageously rude, to the point of screaming at us. We just wanted to substitute a meal so that one of our family would have something to eat. Instead of offering a compromise, she screamed at us that we were wrong because we weren’t being charged for the food we weren’t getting. This was totally unacceptable. My kids have been going there since before they could walk. We won’t be back. This was too much. No one in customer service should speak to a customer the way this girl spoke to us. We will be going to Cancun from now on. We are sad to leave but this was too much. You really screwed up. Whoever this girl is, she should not be in...
Read moreI'm not very happy about leaving this review for several reasons but the most important of which is that I love this place and have been a loyal customer for over ten years. That being said, I've also worked in the restaurant/bar industry and I know a little something about customer service. My colleague and I had lunch at Los Panchos today. The food was delicious per usual. Here's where I had a problem; I asked for a margarita on the rocks but with 1800 tequila and NOT well tequila. (I get headaches with cheap liquor.) The server told me that the margarita mix was pre made... Okay, not a problem just use 1800 tequila. (Why can't a restaurant with a full bar make margaritas from scratch when requested?) Fast forward, I get my bill. I was charged $8.99 for the margarita and $9.99 for 1800 tequila. I expressed my concerns when I brought my bill up to pay out. $20.00 for a drink?! Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be back unless this...
