Wendy's — Restaurant in Colerain Township

Ok- this is by far not only the worst Wendy’s I have ever been to- but the absolute worst option for fast food in this area! I have tried so many times with this Wendy’s hoping it was just a freak occurrence or maybe something had just been off in previous visits- bc I wanted this Wendy’s to be an option for us! I have a large family and I live right up the street! However, after many, many attempts too many to count I am so done with this Wendy’s! The employees are so rude! They need more than job training they need to learn something about customer service! Seriously! The line is always wrapped around almost to the street, and it moves so slow! There have been a few times where McDonald’s has had something going on with their computers or something so I’ve came over to Wendy’s and every time I’m sitting in the line thinking “why did I do this again? I knew better than to do this again”, I could have waited for whatever was going on over there at McDonald’s and been through their line and home before I ever even reach the speaker to order at Wendy’s! No joke! And then like I said, when you do get up there they’re rude, and unprofessional, always out of everything and super unorganized! And for some reason- even when you drive by and nobody’s there- you would think you’d get right through right? Nope! Not here! I have also several times tried this route- like the other morning before school- I thought ok it’s morning I’m sure they’re making this breakfast stuff they advertise all the time- omg! My son was so late for school- they told me to pull up to the sidewalk someone would bring it out- even tho- why!? It’s just me! I wanted to say - no I’ll wait here - bc I knew they were gonna forget about us! So 13 minutes in and I go in to tell them they can have the food if it’s not ready I don’t even need my money back right now- I’ll be back- my sons gonna be late for his exams- they hand me his food like it was just sitting there!? I’m like??? Were you going to let me just sit there as long as it took?! And it’s stuff like that- ALL THE TIME! you go to the window- and they’re literally out of everything- it’s just a hot mess and it sucks bc we don’t have a great selection in this area… all of our ff places suck fr but this Wendy’s absolutely takes the cake for them all! And you KNOW it’s bad when nobody from management or corporate ever even responds to these reviews! Like most reputable businesses do! Pathetic! They’re like- we give up!...

This Wendy's in around the corner from my house so I visit there frequently. I usually don't have a problem. Thus, the two stars. However, the last two times I've been to this location, I got TERRIBLE service. The first was a week or so ago. I went through the drive thru and ordered a baked potato with sour cream and chives. The clerk told me she was out of sour cream. I asked if I could have cheese instead and she told me I would have to pay another $.30. Assuming she was just poorly trained, I decided to give Wendy's another chance today. I went inside hoping I'd get better service. That was a HUGE mistake.

I ordered a single with pickle, mustard and tomato only. You'd think this is a simple request but Wendy's usually gets it wrong. I expect it but today was different. I listened to the cashier tell the woman making the sandwich what I wanted. She acted like she understood. Assuming it was right, I took my bag and left. Something told me to check the burger before I pulled away. My burger had pickle, mustard and onion. I got out of the car and went back inside. This wasn't a huge deal because, like I said, it happens often. The problem started when I got inside.

The sandwich maker asked what she did wrong and then told the cashier to get the burger from me. Usually they say keep it because they just throw them away but that was cool. I figured she just didn't want to give me something for free. That was not the case. She opened the wrapper, took off the top bun and removed the onions. Then she put a tomato slice on the burger and started to close the wrapper.

This was completely unacceptable. I've never watched anyone fix my burger at Wendy's so this might be their SOP. I told them to keep it and left. I called the number on the bottom of my receipt and talked to the DM. He told me this was not how they are supposed to fix mistakes and assured me he would handle it. I told him I left without my money or food and he made zero effort to make that right. This...

Gosh, I really loathe to write this review, because I am one to give chance after chance and make excuse after excuse for the lack of customer service, professionalism and poor quality food received from this location over the past year. This location completely jacked my order up. Ordered 3 10pc original chicken nuggets, 2 Dave's single small combos and 1 additional dave single. What I received was 2 10pc original chicken nuggets, 1 Dave's single, 2 small fries, 2 small drinks and 3 hamburgers🙄 all and I do mean all were presented and wrapped annoyingingly and unprofessionally. Chicken nuggets were cold, fries were limp, drinks were watered down and all burgers were just. ..uggggggghhh You know when you have a long day, and it be hot and you chasing around 2 toddlers and you just make the dumb decision to order overly priced fast food??? Well I did that and I may not be rich, but every dime, nickel and penny adds up and to pay $45 bucks for what I received just....pissed me off! I asked to speak to the manager and was denied because the cashier/intercom rep already had an attitude and was very rude, unprofessional and ghetto!! She came off as if not to replace my whole order and quite frankly I didn't feel like pushing it🤷‍♀️ but I was provided with my missing items but the whole ordeal ruined my appetite; at least my children and husband ate. I understand as a nation there is so much going on, but the way these prices are skyrocketing, I don't care if I'm at a Ruth Chris or Wendy's I want my food fresh, hot, tasty and accurate.
