Braids Somes — Local services in College Park

I have been to Vivianne twice recently. The first braid service was good. She made a good attempt to provide the cornrow style I requested. It wasn't the best but definitely not the worst styling. The second encounter was problematic. I had an unforeseeable, traumatic emergency and could not get to the salon at the appointment time. I called and explained my situation and indicated if she had available slots later in the day, I would come. After coming in she appeared to have a passive aggressive attitude about me asking for a lesser priced style and proceeded to do a sloppy job. Even when I called to address what needed to be fixed later yesterday, she didn't answer ( I've never called during business hours and not received an answer). When I stopped by the salon to show her my braid was unraveling the same day of service, she was not apologetic. She attempted to fix the braid as I was standing with a lighter in her hand near my chest. Very mean and denying that the braid would unravel due to her practices all while rebraiding the braid and putting fire to my hair. Really???Won't...

Wasted my time. I took hours washing and blow drying before the appointment. I got there she already started complaining about the service before I sat down. Telling me I can’t have them the size I wanted . I then agreed to let her do them whichever way . She didn’t discuss a price before hand. I paid 65-70 dollars the last two times I came here. She Decided to raise the price mid braid then I told her I didn’t have it. Then starts to take out the braids. I told her that she should continue that I’ll pay the 80 dollars. She says it is too late. The whole time she just wanted to leave and go home . Instead of saying that she tried to use tactics to make it seem like it was my fault that she couldn’t continue . She could’ve just called and told me...

So I would have gave a 5 star. But I didn't like that 3 people in my hair.. and the fact that I ask for a wash there sink was crazy uncomfortable it hurt my neck.. also the back talk about hair when I know it takes 2 bags to do hair. The hair micros.. I also had a coffee that I couldn't even drink...also why put glu on the ends I feel that when I'm ready to take my hair out I might cut my own... also my braids was so tight and still tight..I have tight bumps.. crazy thing is I paid 200+25+20 all together and ahead time.. but I am happy with my...
