Eddie's Cafe — Restaurant in College Park

Americanized Chinese Cuisine isn’t personally my favorite. It’s good when it’s needed most, or when we are not cooking as a family. I this was my first eating spot in Maryland for my short trip in D.C. Wow, I was just blown away.

To get started, the food came out actually hot and fresh. I decided to order, rice, chicken lo mein with other included vegetables. It was in a really good portion sized container. I ate the entire thing, that’s how good it really was. I noticed that, they really care about how their food comes out to their customers. Like mentioned, what made it best was how it was just fresh.

The service was great as well, I could tell they were quite busy so nothing so special, but they were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was good. They have limited seating however, mainly a place for takeout. Place was somewhat clean, but honestly, doesn’t bother me.

Overall, this restaurant is best just to eat and go. However, their food was an absolute killer. If I ever come back to D.C for a weekend trip, I’m stopping here for a quick stop...

Not sure how stoned people were to give this place four stars. The general tso chicken was soggy and the chicken inside was way overcooked, almost as if it was reheated in a microwave. The famous pork egg roll that everyone seems to talk about was so greasy I had to empty half of it on a bed of napkins and the pork is very questionable as it reminds me of those fake bacon bits you see at the salad bar. Also got a wonton soup and ended up having to put a bunch of soy sauce in it because it had no flavor. If I could give a 0 I would for the fact that the served me reheated chicken. I would say go to Manadarin Delight in Beltsville but they're sytarter to go downhill too.

Ordered sesame chicken was extremely soggy and tasteless General tso chicken tasted like soy sauce and the egg rolls were so oily they dropped oil when squeezed. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Waste of money and time. Took over a hour to be delivered. Plus the lady didn’t want to deliver to my door and was trying g to argue with me to meet her at her car when I was explaining to her that I am handicap and have a broken leg. We were on the phone for almost ten minutes going back and forth for her to come deliver to my door. Extremely unprofessional, poor communication. Food was a waste.
