On 3/15/2023, as I sat at the bar section, I was served by a waitress by the name of Mary. My check number was #2461795/table #103-terminal #246. She is of African American race, wore a engaement or wedding ring, and had passed shoulder length black hair. I found her "ENTIRE" demeanor and attitude to be "TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL." After being very unprofesional, she had the unprofessional audacity to "LITERALLY" ask me, "Was I aware that I left the tip area blank and did I mean to do that?" I responded by saying, "Yes I know and yes I did." She then sighed out loudly. Even though her courtesy and service was terrible, what she didnt know is that I had left the tip area blank because I was going to intentionally tip her in cash, as to keep it seperate from my business credit card. But, after her unprofessional approach as to asking a customer to tip her, I decided not to. Not sure if she was having a bad day or that this is her normal way of treating customers. Server's in any establishment should know that "Tips's" are not only based of their performance/courtesy to the customer, but it's at the customers discretion on if they'll leave a tip and how much. I can promise you, your establish (Grindhouse Killer Burgers) will always be overlooked by myself and family. I know that I'm only one customer and this is only one review, but any business should know that, "If a customer was intentionally treated bad, then this wasn't the first time this has happened to another, and more than likey it will happen to another customer if the problem with service is not addressed with professional stern...
Read moreLarge, friendly and nice staff. The bartenders are very friendly, striking up conversations with patrons, and keeping the bar area clean. 6 of 7 beers on tap working, 2 large screen tvs at the bar, and a community area behind the bar. (14 seats on 1 area, and 16 seats on the other). Liquor wise, they have a great selection Veronica, the bartender was very attentive and VERY social, as was the other bartender, Eric, was just as social and probably louder! The food is served a-la-carte... Pricing wise, the build your own burger was more cost effective for me...and the service was real quick!..placed the order, and nearly 5 minutes later it was here! (And it was warm still)... Asked for additional bbq after burger arrived, and it was received rather quickly.. (veronica called upon her friend in the back with a "cute voice"and they acted Quickly! The sweet potatoes were crinkle cut, tasted a little cool, compared to be piping hot as expected. Bill wise, they are comparable to the rest of the airport. ..10.50 for the beer. Another positive is that they have outlets and usb plugs under the counter, allowing you to charge.
My only disappointed is that they charged me.$0.55 for additional bbq sauce. (It was ordered on my burger, however it was barely a squirt). (For store bought bbq sauce, you'd expect it to be free, especially for such a small container) Overall, a decent experience. ..4 stars because of the good experience. .-1 for the fact that they charged me for...
Read moreOrdered a burger with bacon and avocado at 12:48. Place seemed decently busy as restaurants go but they also share a spot with a little market. Expo was weeded out of her mind. Manager was at the market doing something with a clipboard. Not a care in the world that his tickets were all running long and not being filled properly. Guests to my left got bags with the wrong burger to only be asked, " uhh what did you order then?" Others were missing sides. I was just missing my order. One after another guests who ordered after me got their food, sometimes correct. That, or like me, were running out of time before boarding and didn't care anymore. Twenty minutes go by and I approach the counter to cancel my order and get a refund. The cashier, with zero sense of urgency, walks off to find the manager in the kitchen. Stops to make some jokes with the cooks that I can see through the window. Comes out and slowly walks to the market to find the manager. He comes walking with the same reluctancy as the cashier, stopping to ask a cook what he was doing outside trying to help the poor weeded expo. Manager says hi to me and I tell him I need a refund. He doesnt seem shocked or care and says, "ok." He walks over to the bar to do a refund and comes back with my card and receipt. "Sorry" is all he says and walks off. Get your cooks to put the tickets under your items on the tray. It may help your expo stay organized. And get your managers out of tge clouds and in the food to help prevent bad...
