While waiting for my flight, I stopped at this restaurant; the queue was long, but the service was excellent. Employees were swift, patient, and creative in collecting orders in line such that when you arrived to the counter, your meal was ready. They may make mistakes since things might get chaotic, but they do assist. I got the 5 piece spicy tender combo with fries, a biscuit, and a drink (strawberry fanta), as well as an apple pie. My food was excellent for an airport location; my tenders were well-fried, my portion of crispy fries was filling, my biscuit was soft and went well with the honey and jelly given, and my apple was hot, sweet, and generously dusted with cinnamon sugar. The separate drink station and the opportunity to obtain a water cup were also excellent.

This is a restaurant in the busiest airport in the world. Adjust your expectations accordingly. The food is standard Popeyes fare, which is good. I got the spicy blackened chicken sandwich, red beans and rice, and biscuit. The bad is that there are no tables for eating your meal. Carry your meal to a gate area and eat there. Eating at a restaurant in the center of the concourse would alleviate this awkward inconvenience. The service was fine for what it is. At least they don’t ask for a tip for take out like some places. Overall, this is a reasonable option for airport food. There is a Popeyes in Concourses B & D off to one side. You will have to search to find them.

It was a mistake to eat here, concourse D. I love Popeyes when it's prepared properly. Customers should hede the sign at the entrance if you don't want to get sick from chicken that tastes like it was cooked in old grease and biscuits that taste a day old. We got in line but didn't know we had to leave the line to place our order. I ordered a combo and a few more items. When it was time for me to pay, I was charged for 2 combos. When I asked why, the young lady behind the counter responded in a rude manner. After I had eaten some of my meal, I started feeling really awful and regretted I had ordered from this establishment.

The woman at the counter of this Popeyes on 12/7/24 at the international Atlanta airport was extremely rude. The time was approximately 3:30pm. She never smiled once. Her tone was demanding when she told me where to stand while my husband was still ordering food for us. She never asked if we needed sauce, so once we got to the next window we asked the guy for 4 ranch, there’s 4 of us. The lady then yelled over the counter, they didn’t ask for sauce and it’s 54 cents each and said we had to get back in line for it. By that time the line was long for already having our warm food ready and needing to make it to our next flight. So we decided to leave with no sauce. Then we look through our food and they didn’t even give us the biscuits that were supposed to come with the 4 combo meals we ordered. I wish I would’ve gotten her name to post it here as well. I’m generally a very understanding person but there was no reason for her sassy attitude. She needs a reprimanding, a write up perhaps. If it were up to me she’d be fired! I wouldn’t want someone like that working in my business! She was absolutely absurd for no apparent reason! Next time I’ll post her photo and have her...

This location at concourse D8 is outrageous. I got there to purchase food and had only cash on me. There was a sign that says cash payment here. I joined that line only to be told they will not take my cash as there is no cashier to serve me. I had to give one of the customers a $50 bill cash for a meal that cost me $12 as i needed to feed my little one and did not have a credit or debit card as they insisted is the only method of payment. June 1 2025 around 1630 hours. Their customer service was a 0/1000. Very rude employees and one of the ladies kissing her teeth at me for insisting that i wanted the spicy meat. There was a male employee in a brown uniform who was also really unpleasant and sat on his phone texting the whole time behind the cash register. I will remember never to visit this location as I frequently use the ATL airport. Food was disgusting, fries were cold. Do better guys or look for another job if you...

Incredibly rude staff and after 25 minutes of waiting, and watching at least 10 others get their food, we were not given anything until requesting a refund (we'd been asked twice while waiting what we ordered-- by the same employee). After requesting a refund our food magically appeared-- sort of. It was like pulling teeth to get any sauce (which we weren't even given what we requested) and at that point we'd given up and didn't even bother trying to get silverware (despite having Mac and cheese). Our 12 piece ended up only being a 10 piece-- so after all that we didn't even get the right order. Thankfully we did make it to our flight, but after a stressful day of flights, delays, and layovers the last thing we needed was to deal with rude, dismissive, and combative employees. If I could give 0...
