You cannot blame the restaurant for the atmosphere here entirely.. it is in an airport. However, waters taking 20 minutes to come out, food having zero flavor (parm crusted chicken which I have ordered at a large number of other Longhorn locations and it was amazing at all the others). These things can be blamed on the restaurant itself. My soup is taking much linger than my food which took 2x the normal time with a slightly busy time.. we were never offered bread which if you know is a staple of what makes a Longhorn visit. My fiancée ordered a medium steak and was given something much much more red than ever. The waitress has talked to us two times over the entire visit and once was to hring the waters that were captured from the mountains of fiji directly after ordered and the next after they brought they butchered the cow and chicken in real time after our order. The absolute worst experience at one of my top five chains and my number one steak house. Very disappointed. If this was my first time at a Longhorn it would be my last. Update. As soon as I was finishing up the waitress said "your soup is still cocking" 10 minutes after I have eaten my main dish. She should have said "I am sorry we are currently out of the French Onion at the moment" and not had my hopes up for a new soups. Sorry to rant but please just get Burger King, Chick fil A or ANYTHING other than this. Please go to a stand alone if you wish to try Longhorn Steakhouse for the first time I promise it will be 1000x better.
New Update. The soup was my second side that the price of is included with my meal, I was charged the normal price and she threw a random side on there to make it look like I had received one and I was told by here "it does not matter if you got a side or not!" if you get mad about someone wanting to pay less for receiving less you are wrong. For example imagine buying a new car and it not having tires, just left on rims for you even though tires are included in the new car price. I understand it is a major price and situation difference but some people may understand more seeing the example. I am not exactly mad about the side, just how it was handled and not being told upfront as a customer. Again, I love Longhorn Steakhouse as a whole but this is a rotten egg in the carton that could really ruin if for someone just...
Read moreI can’t remember the last time I gave a two star review. This was by far one of the worst restaurants experiences that I’ve had in a long time, specially during a time where I am so exhausted from delayed flights.
Upon arriving to the host stand, I wasn’t even greeted and when I asked how long the wait would be I was told it was unknown, which is fine because I know times are crazy… However, everything went downhill when I had to ask the waitstaff to bring me bread while I had already been seated for about 15 minutes.
I had to clean the table on my own with some disinfectant wipes because it was visibly dirty from the previous customer. I also had to ask my waiter if they had the mashed potatoes I ordered after overhearing they were out… She asked proceeded to ask “oh you ordered that ?” Yes, yes I did… I’m glad I was proactive and requested an alternative.
Once the bread came out, it took a while for my food to do so as well and when it did one of my sides was missing and the waiter asked me “oh I didn’t bring it out?” No, my full order wasn’t complete ma’am…
After that experience, a table next to me broke some glass so I communicated it to both of the servers in the area due to the glass almost cutting me when it fell and being so close to my feet while I ate. Nobody decided to make that an urgency even after 30 minutes of my communicating the safety concern so I decided to go up to the host stand and tell the manager. Suddenly that’s when three people decided to come clean up the broken glass.
At the same time, I was also waiting for my steak to be cooked a little more because I asked for medium and I got a rare steak :( I waited for ANOTHER 15 minutes and then decided to ask if it was ready. Again, somehow my order was forgotten because the waiter proceeded to ask me “what steak” when she brought me my receipt. When she noticed I was visibly frustrated she went and finally got my steak which was still RARE in some major areas, so I decided to not to forego eating it.
The manager did offer to rectify the issue by covering my tab, but I think it’s still the lack of urgency and chaos that REALLY made me disappointed in this place. I shall not return.
Please remember QUALITY over QUANTITY. Having so many tables so close together doesn’t seem efficient if positive customer service...
Read moreUnderstandably not everyone had a great experience at this particular longhorn and that's ok as each time could be different and our individual experiences will be such. I Had a long layover and wouldn't be getting out of ATL until 10 pm. C concourse could be hit or miss for food, and I didn't want to gamble on a couple of spots that were nearby. I Have eaten at other sit down restaurants in the adjoining concourses in the past and it was just ok and with mixed results. I do have a couple of go to carry out places in another part of the airport if I need something in a pinch during short layover. I had seen this longhorn advertised during previous trips, but didn't have time to eat there. As a long time customer at other stand alone longhorn locations in various states, I thought I would try this one. I walked by looking in for a seat and the guy working the bar waved me over and made room for me as it was super busy. Ordered a beer and the 12 oz ribeye and fries plus a veggie and all cooked to perfection. As this is a smaller restaurant some items aren't available as in the standalone establishments such as, specialty cuts of steaks such as the outlaw ribeye and t-bone, as well as other meats with bones such as wings or ribs. Also no sharp knives due to security reasons and no restrooms (one nearby in the concourse). It will also be slightly higher here as this is of course an airport but not outrageously priced as one would expect. Overall it was a good experience and while I didn't get the bartender's name, thank you for your great and attentive service on November 18, 2024 around 7 pm. I will definitely return next time coming through the ATL if I have a long...
