Could have been a 5-star review if it wasn't for the service.. Food was great 👌 Started with the southern fried and a vodka martini, Agent 003. Both were tasty. Main course was the bird for myself which was lovely and urban cobb which I didn't taste but it looked good. The ending included the drunken bread pudding which was interesting but good nonetheless. The service was spotty. Our server never introduced himself. I happened to overhear his name as he completely bonded with the couple at the table next to us. We felt like an afterthought to the point we had to call others to our table to get drinks and starters, get us place settings, and bring take out containers. I know this is a team environment but honestly it felt as if our server would rather help others. He finally turned a little warm after I tried to engage a few times. Since we were there celebrating a birthday the mood was dampened by this experience. The other server stepped in quite a bit and was very helpful. I hope they split tips because it was the other server's assistance we tipped on. Music was AMAZING. Baatin performed and saved the day. It was my second time to the restaurant and possibly my last, at least for a while. I hope it's not my last time listening to Baatin. Again, this would be a 3-star review if it wasn't for Baatin and the other server. They were the most impressive parts of the evening, oh and...
Read moreThis is a very nice restaurant in the College Park area. The atmosphere and decorations are really nice. The staff was friendly. The menu has something for everyone from vegan to carnivore and even gluten free options. We didn't have reservations and there were two separate groups having their office party but we were quickly seated, it was a Thursday night so thankfully not a weekend. The food was good, along the same lines as what you'd expect in a midtown type of restaurant. Good presentation, modest portion sizes and appropriate pricing. The only downside to our experience was this is still a blossoming area, there is still a criminal element present. The side parking lot is well lit and right on a busy road but that didn't stop criminals from breaking into 2 cars while we dined. Crime can happen anywhere and these victims didn't help themselves by leaving valuable items in plain sight (laptops, bags etc). However, this area is still trying to improve so be vigilant and park in front of the restaurant if possible and not on the side. I would suggest to the owners to hire night time security to patrol the parking areas. What was otherwise a very good dining experience was clouded by this event. I would come back if I knew measures were put in place to...
Read moreI was very hungry when I arrived at The Feed Store and we couldn't of picked a better restaurant. I was in Atlanta on a business trip and The Feed Store was not too far from our airport and hotel. Two of my managers had eaten here the night before and were so impressed they wanted to come back for dinner a second night, and I am so glad they included me! We made reservations and did not have to wait at all to be seated, and our food did not take long at all. I got the fried chicken. macaroni and cheese, and baked beans for dinner. This was hands down the BEST fried chicken I have ever had in my life. Lots of light and fluffy breading and the chicken was very tender. You'd have to try it to understand how different this fried chicken was from your typical fried chicken and sooo delicious! I had a fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream for dessert that was excellent as well.
My coworkers all agreed The Feed Store was the best meal we had in Atlanta all week. A few of them got the iceberg wedge and I wish I had ordered that as well. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. This was the best dining experience I have had in a long time. If I am ever back in Atlanta I will be back to The Feed Store for sure! Highly...
