Waffle House — Restaurant in College Park

I came to store #553 on OLD National hwy at 1 sometime am. I ordered double hash capped, covered, country....etc.....first they let my order just sit while I watched it just be left open, and I asked for my order by name, Sarah said it was not ready, and it took for the cook to tell her it was right in her face they gave me 1 order w NO TOMATOES, NO ONIONS, NO GRAVY AND 1 MUSHROOM the first time....they remade my order, but neglected to say NO GRAVYWAS AVAILABLE, Sarah, the manager at that, said it should say it online bc tht is how I ordered because the line was too much, and I told her it did not. She handed me my order again and STILL NO ONIONS, NO TOMATOES, NO MUSHROOMS, NO JALAPEÑOS, etc..... the third time remade is when I requested a refund, which the manager and the cook, who got an attitude and said "She gotta go dispute it online" which you CANNOT NOR CALL, NOR CALL CORPORATE..... she said I would have to wait untilmorning and get my money from Blair. I have been calling and calling and no answer, just an automated repetitive message that you can only contact online.......I want my refund. I can't believe kids are losing money because the incompetence of the store, their location and NO ONE TO HELP. They were messing up orders left and right for simple stuff like my hashbrown order. This is ridiculous I...

I don’t expect the world when I go to a Waffle House, but this one was easily the lousiest one I’ve ever been to. First off, the staff was slow, and there was a “that’s not my table” minor bickering going on between them when it came to cleaning tables or dealing with customers seated throughout the dining area. The interior is easily the dirtiest Waffle House I’ve seen; there were cans and other trash left by previous customers that were not cleaned up. The music was too loud and distracting, and the track-list was obnoxious. My meal came with hash browns, and I noticed immediately that the amount was almost half of what other waffle houses give out. The sandwich itself was fine, however. To make things even more interesting, there seems to be an abundance of shady people hanging outside in the area, but I guess that’s probably to be expected during the middle of the night. At one point, a strange person came in (I’m not sure if he was homeless or not) and asked a customer at the counter something, and she got so worked up that I thought that she might start a fight with him. All in all, I wouldn’t really go out of my way to grab food here, unless you were starving and wanted to...

When we pulled into this Waffle House the police department were pulling out which I thought was a little bit odd. When we got into the parking lot there were no other patrons the parking lot was completely empty. The police had left an automated video system mounted on a trailer and powered by solar panels in order to keep an eye on that particular location. It indicated to me that there could have been some serious crime problems in that area. The staff was only two people short order cook and waitress. The waitress was kind and polite although it took a little bit for her to warm up. My wife and I agree that the eggs were outstanding but there was some kind of cheese beef dish that I had that I didn't like very well I don't know if that was because it was not cooked properly or for some other reason. We ended up giving 30 bucks for just a few eggs and coffee I thought that was overpriced for the experience...
