Walla Walla Daily Grind — Restaurant in College Place

At almost 60 years old, I just started drinking coffee this past summer when I was traveling a lot. So since then I have tried numerous coffee stands and shops in Walla Walla/College Place and this has become my favorite. Two reasons, well three. The first is because they use Walla Walla Roastery coffee which is awesome. So good. I buy Roastery coffee when I’m making drip at home. Their coffee shop is all the way across the valley for me, and this stop is within a mile of my house. The second is because their prices are just fantastic. Unless I am getting a milk alternate, my iced coffee is five dollars or less. And the third is because the baristas are mighty fun and friendly. Friendly staff. Attentive. Competitive prices. Easy in-out. Location is oft overlooked because its tucked away on a cul-de-sac but definately worth exploring. Drive-thru has a tight approach so don't bring your crew cab dually unless you intend to park and walk up. Mid sized autos to mid sized SUV's are perfectly proportioned for the short radius ingress/egress manuever. Loyalty program. Food is prepackaged and delivered by a major food service vendor. Check the temp of your breakfast sandwich before departure. It might need to be rezapped. Ours was cold in the middle. Refer cold. Didn't notice until the first bite was in launch mode at home, two minute's away. Tasty though it was. I'd order the same food again and multi return to fill a loyalty card....

This local coffee stand is quintessential Walla Walla. The Daily Grind offers delicious locally roasted beans for coffee-based drinks of all varieties and a ton of other non-coffee drinks including Lotus. Super friendly service makes the experience pleasant and worth every penny, which by the way, goes further than other coffee shops.
