My wife and I were shopping the Walla Walla valley for a conventional, firm, King mattress on July 4th, 2021. Mattress Firm was our final stop, and the store we would use for comparison to the other furniture/bedding stores. Cameron and David of the Walla Walla Mattress Firm totally, far exceeded our expectations! Not only did Cameron show us a better Serta model than we'd previously seen, he had a wealth of education about bedding construction and performance, as well as great information about the different mattresses and how to choose the best product for your sleep needs, and budget. Both David and Cameron were super professional, yet very personable and friendly. My wife and I really enjoyed getting to know them and they made us feel completely relaxed and comfortable. There was no pressure sales involved, and Cameron even walked away to give us privacy to huddle and discuss our options. We made a well informed choice on a mattress, then Cameron and David worked together to find every possible discount on not only a great mattress ( a Serta Sandburg, King, Firm ) but an adjustable base. My wife and I had talked about buying an adjustable base "someday", and the guys made sure "someday" was today! They knocked our expectations out of the park! It’s a funny thing, you wouldn’t think buying a new bed would be such a difficult task. Here’s how Mattress Firm helped make that decision easy and fun! After spending hours and hours online to try and find the correct mattress. I felt even more confused and instead of the 2 options I had in the beginning I now had about 6. Then I read this “the golden rule of mattress buying is to try before you buy”

This me to trying a popular place just over the boarder in Oregon and I left there still confused and not sure if I buy a mattress they mail in a box or what I do.

I called Mattress Firm. First off they took special steps to keep things clean. The beds we tried tried were clean. The other place I tried the beds were dirty and stained. Mattress Firm gave you a protective pad to use for the pillows to make the whole process a little more enjoyable.

Our mattress expert was awesome he was nice, funny, and knowledgeable. After trying a few beds and getting to better understand what I was laying on. Within a few minutes I could understand why I liked certain beds over others and that helped me move to a decision quickly. All and all the whole experience was top notch! I will buy any future beds from them and will pass the word on to friends and family.

We ordered a mattress and were given a 3 week delivery time. The day before the delivery was scheduled they called us to tell us it would be another three weeks. This after we had called to confirm the delivery date 4 times.

We were offered $300 off the order because of the issue.

We later cancelled the order. After a week we had not seen a refund so we called to ask about it and found they order was never cancelled. We cancelled again. We then called weekly for three weeks because we still had not received a refund. Each time we were told it would be 7-10 business days. 24 business days after our initial request for cancellation we called our bank and initiated a chargeback. We contacted the store to tell them we had done so and ask one last time that they refund our account. 45 minutes later the refund was issued.

If the refund could be issued in 45 mins why did it take 24 business days.

It should also be said that the corporate customer service staff had repeatedly cancelled chat sessions of the website. The regional manager refused to speak with us and many customer service agents hung up on us during...
