Honestly great deal and much higher quality than expected for the price. Unlimited toppings, build your own or keep it simple and make any adjustments you'd like. They pile on the toppings generously, quality ingredients like feta or blue cheese alone worth close to $1 ea per pizza easily at cost. 4-6oz of feta will run you $4-$5 +tax at any grocery store and your getting 1-2oz+, that's 1 topping. Their meats are pretty standard. What you'd expect, comparable to Little Caesars, but with a much larger selection and way more generous portions. Canadian bacon was above par compared to the processed version you'd expect, same with regular bacon, and honestly even the sausages which are comparable to what you'd expect from Little Caesars are above par and have no gas taste like Ceasar's who charges $8-$10 for 2-5 toppings with skimpy portions, charges per topping for any changes, and is on crust that turns to cardboard almost instantly. MOD Pizza crust is fresh and soft, their diced tomato really adds flavor, options like olives, red onions, spinach, artichoke (another topping you can't find cheap at grocery stores), along with tons of options for sauce, multiple basil pesto, and topping sauce options as well. All around it's a steal, and a genuin sandwich line style you'd expect from Subway that allows you to make your pizza the way you truly want it without forking over $1-$3 per additional topping, and again, more generous than almost any. Everyone wins. I will say we waited for nearly 15 minutes walking in, but there is the option to order online, and is understandable for a sandwich line set up, and completely worth it. The atmosphere is nice, I didn't catch the Asian kids name but he's awesome and I'll definitely tip him big next time I come in. The guy working the oven was really cool as well. Definitely check it out, you won't be disappointed. Some of the ingredients are more Subway than places you'll pay $23+ for a giant, but for what it is ($8 thin &10 regular) 11" pizza that could easily fill 2-4 people for one sitting, amazing. 5 stars even if you have to wait, if that's an issue for you order online ahead of time. Last thing I'll say is because I ordered a ton of toppings, they pulled my pizza out early so the crust wouldn't burn, told me straight away there maybe a layer that didn't cook fully in the middle (all ingredients are precooked anyways) so beware of your extra extra with it like I was your pizza won't cook properly and you'll need to take it home and reheat it. Worth it, I figured as much, don't order every topping and assume they can magically cook kit through without burning the crust. I love everything about this place, willing to drive 45 minutes on occasion if...
Read moreFor $7.97, you get an 11-inch personal pizza with ANY TOPPINGS at NO EXTRA COST. I had bacon, Italian sausage, pineapple, olives, green peppers, parmesan cheese, oregano, rosemary, and red pepper flakes on white sauce/fresh garlic/fresh basil. Again, to reiterate, it's not $7.97 for some base pizza that you add toppings to for an added price--it's a flat price of $7.97 for a pizza of however many toppings you want in whatever combination you can think of. (However, you can pay an extra $2.00 for thicker crust, which I did, and I found it to be worth the money. Then again, I happen to prefer thicker crust, usually.) And they've got plenty of toppings, spices, and sauces to choose from: marinara, white sauce, barbecue sauce, pesto, butter, garlic, garlic butter, ricotta, feta, gorgonzola, Asiago, parmesan, mozzarella, basil, spinach, arugula, artichoke hearts, green peppers, olives, tomatoes, chicken, pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami... More than I can possibly remember, all laid out before you for your choosing as they assemble your pizza per your request like a sandwich at Subway. Then they toss it into a flaming pizza oven, where it sits until, piping hot, they call your name and hand it to you on a plate (or in a box, for the on-the-go pizza-eater) for your dining pleasure. Now, you can wait in line (and you will--the place is busy at all hours) and order twenty minutes into your visit, or you can order online ahead of time like a sane person and have your delicious food ready on arrival. Up to you, crazy.
PS Full disclosure, no one paid me for this, I just really...
Read moreBEWARE!!!! THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. First time for me and my daughter. Everything seemed to be going great, fast, friendly, and very helpful to us new comers. After picking up our pizzas and taking a few bites, I went back to the guy running the oven. First off, I noticed him pulling the pizza doughs (pre-cooked) with his bare hands, everyone else handling food was gloved up except him. I asked him for ranch dressing and he filled some small containers and as here put on the lids I could see that his hands had very open sores across all of his knuckles, they were freaking nasty. I as to talk to the manager and told her she needed to go check on it. I watched as she did, and immediately took him off the line. She made no attempt to correct our order, so I took our pizzas back and asked to have them remade. But no attempt from her. It was so nasty I wanted to warn everyone still eating. So after they verified what was on our pizzas, they remade them, and they looked nothing like the pizzas made in front of us, ( the first ones). They looked as though a 3 yr old put them together and only used half the toppings. I'm not complaining about a little cut or burn, this was at least 6 open sores across the knuckles of his right hand. Its hard to believe anyone in charge there has any concept of...
