Harvest Coffee - Caprock — Restaurant in College Station

I had an excellent experience at Harvest Coffee Bar in Century Square. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The staff took genuine care in helping me choose a drink—I went with their pour-over coffee and it was rich, smooth, and clearly made with quality beans.

The interior is beautifully designed: rustic yet modern, with plenty of comfortable seating, natural light, and a relaxing vibe that makes it perfect for catching up with friends or getting some work done. Plus, the pastries and light bites were fresh and tasty—just what I needed in the afternoon.

What really stood out was their community-driven mindset. It’s clear they care about more than just coffee; they want to create a space where people feel welcome and connected. Parking was also easy (free garage access nearby) which is a huge plus in this area.

Update: Down from 5 stars to 2 stars. The food was mediocre. The eggs were well-poached, but the hollandaise was scrambled. Service was not friendly or professional. I doubt we will go back since there are much better options nearby.

Today was our first visit, and we had one of our best brunches ever. Great coffee selection ranging from pour-over to Japanese style slow-drip cold coffee. The crabcakes with poached eggs, asparagus and mixed greens salad was fantastic. The delicious crabcakes were perfectly prepared with pure lump crab meat. The asparagus was firm yet tender. The eggs were nicely poached. The poached eggs with ham steak and potatoes au gratin were also delicios. The freshly prepared beignets were light & fluffy and served a tasty sauce. UPDATE (Oct 2024): Not only coffee is mediocre now the staff (talking about the girl there in the afternoon) has terrible customer service. She can’t remember the order that I requested 20 seconds earlier, she does not have a friendly demeanor. Probably last time I come here. It is a shame as this area needs a nice and friendly coffee shop.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I come here for the coffee. The coffee is good, I am talking espresso. The 4 star rating is mainly due to the slow service on the weekends. There is definitely a shortage of staff and wait 20-30 minutes to get a coffee is really not what anyone wants. So today I sat down and hoped the line would get shorter but it did not and I left without ordering my Cortado. More employees are needed for sure. Otherwise it is a great place to come for coffee...
